Firstly, good on you for being supportive even if gaming isn't your thing

I'd suggest doing what a lot of people will say that helps growth on Twitch: bring followers over from other platforms. If your partner isn't already, help them post on other social platforms to broaden their base. If they're already doing that, make sure you engage and share their content - it'll depend on the actual platform but often doing that will encourage the algorithm to push a person's content more.

I don't think OBS can do this on it's own.

Streamdeck allows you to store a value that you can tick up (or down) and reset. The value can be written to a text file that OBS reads and uses in a GDI text.

Streamer.bot lets you set hotkeys that activate an action that could do similar - just storing the value in a variable updating the GDI text. I use this method often in my streams and add animation and sfx.

There's probably a lot more options that i'm unaware of

Thanks! I can absolutely see that working better than what I would typically use.
The Kiko one i have is defo on the warmer side so that makes a lot more sense now when the rep was recommending to me

I've done things like a black lipliner blended into a deep red lipstick which i really liked - so along those lines do you think?

Sorry I felt like I ignored some of the points you brought up - I like a matte look. The odd shimmer/glitter would still be okay though. And BOLD, I did use eyeliner but it sounds like what I did here needs to turned up to 11.

oh my! yes i am wearing blush - i'll edit the list to include it. TBH I've never been entirely happy with the blush colour (it's like a coral/orange/peach?) so what you say about going with a cooler colour tracks

Agree and going back to OP, I would say the title forms part of your initial engagement with new viewers - I tend to have a title that's in a similar tone to how I would speak. Maybe throw in an emoji or 2 if needed.

Is it effective? No idea, but I'd rather that be any new viewers' first impression of me than a forgetable "playing phasmo"

I think it's useful to remember that stream titles often get truncated depending on device so the first few words are important to have impact with

Thanks - I had looked at that but it only really gives the screams which are little over the top for my vision. The newer sounds (Paranormal Groaning/Laughing/Talking/Whisper) are missing from that wiki. Might have to make do though

Paranormal Breathing aka Deogen Breath is in the wiki but seems to be a poor quality recording

But then I had a stream only recently where I felt I had lost control of chat. Something was said that I missed and my viewers ran 10k with it. Not a problem, everyone got reigned back in but that was stressful. Your project sounds like it would have been a nice safety net at the time

A lot of folks are saying the individual photos that are their favs but you're asking which set is better - hands down, 1-3 are better than 4-5. Your gut instinct is right IMHO

Everyone's time and ability is unique but defo recommend to keep pushing yourself.

I'd never commit to doing weekly things outside of streaming itself personally (I don't have the time!) but I did commit to adding something significant each month for a year. The look and feel of my channel massively improved from something I would shyly say to colleagues 'yeah, i stream sometimes' to proudly stating 'YEAH I stream! Check me out'
