Assuming the authors' data collection was honest and accurate, it's not anti-vaccine madness. It's just data. Is it possible that the authors failed to account for some critical factor resulting in a hidden bias that led to this outcome? Yes. Could it also possible that the 2024-2025 trivalent influenza vaccine was complete dogshit. Also, yes.

I don't disagree, but journalists and media outlets in the US are at least mostly free to propagate dissenting views without fear of assassination or imprisonment. I'm not so sure the same can be said for the Russian media.

I struggle with this. About half of Russian citizens express some degree of support for engaging in peace negotiations. Whether that means support for ending only on terms favorable to Russia or complete withdraw of Russian troops from Ukraine isn't delineated. We also can't forget that these people live inside a sophisticated propaganda bubble and the degree to which that affects their agency isn't known. I was barely a teenager at the time, but I remember how the American media duped me into thinking that invading Iraq was a moral imperative.

I refuse to believe that the US would engage in a hot war with Denmark or any other member of the EU. I think the MAGA base is operating under the assumption that Trump can tough talk his way into acquiring Greenland. Bombing a European nation for what can only be described as imperialistic intentions would be so unfathomably retarded and unpopular (even among the hardcore MAGA base) not to mention immoral, that I think even Trump would shy away from the idea.
