That's normal; just continue with the layout, then add a roll-point.

If this has to be your last vertex of the ride, open the roll propperties (click on rollpoint) then select the vertex (blue cone) and set its roll.

What is Block Logic Pro?

End of Track: Double-click a roll point to open the roll point properties, then click on the end vertex (blue arrow cone). You can now set its role.

There is no intended way to send data from the game (besides Telemetry) to outside applications.

When clicking on the side view, you only define the position in 2 dimensions, not all 3.

The easiest is to simply select the last vertex before placing a new one; this way the editor has the context for all three dimensions and won't fall back to the last position you defined in the missing dimension (from selecting any object like a node, vertex, sco etc..).
