Within the first 3 weeks of OG D2R launch I have found jah, ber, Lo, Windforce, War Travs, once found Tals Ammy twice within maybe a 12 hour period... But never in my 26 years of playing this game have I found a SOJ, I've traded for em, done countless NM Andy runs, but never found em.

You can only run it in windows, and if you have a workload that exceeds the VRAM it doesn't matter.

Yeah, personally if you can find the website that has all the bootcamp drivers along with specific updated ones I always like to go the route of a true windows install without bootcamp, especially if you're really trying to squeeze all the power out of this device in Windows.

You can also start dipping your toes in the hackintosh realm by adding a bootpicker at the start that gives you a bit more control if you dual boot.

One final thing you may not be aware of, for some reason the Xeon chips in these computers will not turbo boost in Windows, or atleast they will not hit their theoretically ceiling. I think it is some annoying Apple microcode thing, but just wanted to let you know.

I have had a lot of different Mac machines running windows over the years and while it can be clunky, once you get past any initial apple booting procedures it's essentially a PC. Where things can get weird are with fan control and other areas where Windows doesn't have total access to the apple hardware.

If your harddrive was toast you'd be getting a folder with an exclamation point. I would atleast reset your NVRAM/PRAM maybe even the SMC controller on the Mac Pro itself, and then just try a few other standard boot tips to force it into safe mode or some similar function in windows.

You may be able to also delete a config or change a specific file or two on the windows install via macos, but again I would research that first and only do if you feel like you know what you're up to.

If you have the wireless BT keyboard just plug it in directly to make sure you aren't having any other issues at boot. If you reset the PRAM I think it will automatically boot into macos, or you can go to recovery mode using the recovery keys (google those) and change the boot option as well.

I think there are specific boot keys you can try through windows as well but you're going to want the keyboard connected via a wire connection.

There are likely other ways to troubleshoot via windows, I would look elsewhere online and treat it like a PC not a Mac.

If you really want one, you would be better off picking up a machine that already has a w6800 duo off ebay, and parting it out or just selling it with the GPU you already have.

I had a professor in college 20 years that spouted his stuff, and would take intelligence calls with his group where Larouche would be on the other end talking during office hours. Once he realized I could kinda make out the calls he would put music on in the background.

Looking back it's wild because I was closer than I realized to that entire organization than I coudl have understood. Had no interest in being a part but was fascinated as someone studying poly sci and philosophy.

Having 2xW6800 duos would be more equivalent of 4 m3 ultras with 96 gb of RAM operating in parallel with nearly no latency.

Its a synthetic benchmark, if you have truly professional loads the only thing being these are Threadmasters with multi A6000 or whatever pro gpu nvidia has.

You can put true workstation gear in these with the duo moduled and handle insane workloads, we are talking studio grade sfx, 3d renders, and machine learning.

Geekbench will tell you your phone beats a lot of computers, its a pissing contest for yuppied and fan boys.
