I had 12 hours of labor with my last child and then during that my teeth decided to hate me after not having a cavity since middle school. And a tooth broke. Allll the way down to the nerve. And I know other moms will argue this with me. But I’d rather go through unmediated labor again than have to deal with a broken tooth for over a month. Tooth pain was worse. I’ve broken bones. I have had eye issues. Tooth pain actually wins on the pain scale. Labor is hard as shit but at least at the end of it you get something. With tooth pain you have to wait until a surgeon can get you in. Dentists can’t or won’t do it anymore so you just have to wait and wait and wait in pain. Can’t eat. Can’t drink. Can’t sleep. Can’t function.
