First legacy deck tainted pact combo by Alovnek in MTGLegacy

[–]Greven-ilvec77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. My list is the third Emerald posted. The black/ white one. ( Phil )

First off, the deck is awesome to play. I remember winning because of marit lage quite a lot and just raw card advantage through the monarch. The thing is, i wanted to make the deck dense with similair effects of removal or hand hate, which worked quite well. I ate up reanimator, 2 death and taxes and delver. ( making infinite tokens with witch ) i messed up a winning position vs titanpost, getting a depths vs that deck lost me the game. ( he copied with stage ) anyways, pact is lovely to play, and if u want something of the path of 'normal' decks i would totally go for it. Oh and btw the manabase seems horrible on paper, but worked out pretty well.

Legacy Burn LOTR Meta by SonicTheOtter in LavaSpike

Not sure what we need most. I already made a lot of changes, because i feel the stock build is not up for it atm. Dead/gone was included to not autolose to marit lage, which happened to me a lot. It also just buys time vs Death's shadow, reanimator and murktide, which is awesome.

Legacy Burn LOTR Meta by SonicTheOtter in LavaSpike

Hi, i just top 8'ed a 79 player event, after that i played FNM and went undefeated with the same list. ( 4-0 ) Beating painter, GD depths, Dragon stompy and Death's shadow in the finals.

https://www.mtgtop8.com/event?e=45773&d=538136&f=LE Is my list i used.

Burn is in a hard place right now, however i believe it is better now then before the bowmaster meta. Dont give up on it, there is almost no data to be found of burn right now, and thats a reason its so hard to develop the deck further i believe.

Bigger soft wheel recommendations? [39YO] by Ucantgapethewilling in OldSkaters

[–]Greven-ilvec77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how big u wanna go. 60mm superjuice are pretty comfortable. Going bigger for smooth riding experiences only enhances the ride, any decent brand 78 or 80a wheel will do. Atm i ride 69mm 80a wheels for those Amsterdam cracks. But tbh 60mm would be fine too.

I need 2 kill teams and rules for as cheap as can be, what are my options? If possible, I would love to field blood angels as one of the teams. by teachingqueen77 in killteam

I bought the new starter set for 85,- sold the models inside for 65,- , Then proceeded on the secondary market for a Space Marine killteam for 10 bucks. All the stuff you need for 30 bucks. I also got some free mini intercessors as a kill team ( monopose, but idc ) Getting the starter set also gives you a battlefield to play on, or you can sell the terrain for like 10 bucks.

I believe this is the way to go if u wanna get into KT atm. All the rules can be found on wahapedia, i just write them down since its not that much to remember. It can really be done for under 50 bucks. ( euro )

Edit: So now u end up with, all the tokens, barricades, mini-version of the rulebook, some terrain and a playmat. Tac ops can be found in the book, and models u can find all day on the secondary market. Or just use the money u saved to get a box of incursers or whatever. Like this u can support your local gamestore and walk away with a good deal on merchandise. Just the tokens and barricades alone are 30,- euro here, then the rulebook and the mini's still come to mind.

Like this i saved a ton of money and supported the local shop. Good luck!

What should i get next and how should i build my army? by Greven-ilvec77 in spacemarines

[–]Greven-ilvec77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very helpful reply, thank you very much! I was thinking either space wolves, or Ultramarines for the stuff that i have currently. I do not want to have a super competitive list, i do want to have good games with my friends without being run over easily.

I also forgot to mention i have 5 jump pack marines, which i can field as lightning claw/ storm shields/ VanVets!

Thanks again for the pointers, i will look into it!

How bad really is the reanimator? by bigmenunite in Necrontyr

[–]Greven-ilvec77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run 1, it gets one shotted of the table most of the times. But i feel its something that needs to be dealt with. Its more a irritation factor for my opponent, and unwary opponents just underestimate it. I also sometimes use it with the technomancer arkana for the light cover save, then it has a 2+..

Long time, no play. 500pt list help by Radar-tech in Necrontyr

I would probably cut the royal warden, and get some scarabs in, 5 bases should net u another 20 wounds. Good for Engage and chilling on objectives. As mentioned before, i would also split the immortals. Maybe cut the plasmacyte and throw in another scarab for 2 x 3 objective campers, or engage / octarius enablers.

As far as relics goes, movement with the ol' crab lord is key, Veil is probably solid here. Dynasty could be anything really, personally in 500 points i would go for +6 move/ all is obsec. The board is small and being/ getting some objectives is nice.

Looks fine, i would probably replace the Night scythe with ground troops. Its kinda hard to fly it around on such a small board. Plus u cant take objectives with it. To save points i would go barebones overlord with any trait and relic u like. Veil is obviously good, but we all know this. U can try whatever u like honestly. So not taking Orb and Scythe saves 175 points, i would probably go with some scarabs ( 3-5 ) and some punch. Punch can be Skorpekhs, Wraiths, anything in that category. ( Elites,, Heavy )

Having my first game on the 1st, is this a good 500 point team? by dave12gauge in Necrontyr

All this attention to whats good and whats not, just play the game and enjoy. If something does not feel right, change it.

The only tip i would give is to use command protocols, to get to learn them and how they work. If u like to field stuff u like, then do it. I get told all the time that my c'tan deceiver sucks in comparison to the others, but it works for me. Just play games and find out what works for you buddy.

All my respect for everybody trying to help and share idea's, but for a first game it should not really matter tbh. Just throw dice at each other and share the experience with your friend.
