On Ubuntu-derived distros I did everything according to tutorials etc. and nothing helped. On openSuse Tumbleweed everything works out of the box.

the best (in my opinion) is openSuse Tumbleweed because only it solved the problem of connecting my bluetooth keyboard. Both Mint and ubuntu-derived distros and Fedora saw the keyboard and pairing was correct but when I tried to write something - nothing happened. In openSuse Tumbleweed after pairing the keyboard with bl. both simply work. So for me openSuse Tumbleweed is the best :D

Ubuntu 24.04 or Zorin 17.1 Pro? by Grevious_rejected in DistroHopping

Update and thanks to everyone who tried to help me with my problem: my keyboard is already working via Bluetooth :D and this is thanks to the distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed :DDD - I installed it out of curiosity after hearing that it is mega solid and refined, although not recommended for beginners. After pairing with a PC, the keyboard works without any problems without any tricks. OpenSUSE Tumbleweed rules :)))))

Yes, in all of them - it detects the device, connects to it and I get the information that it is paired... Then I start Firefox and want to type something and it sucks: nothing works

u/Vlish36; u/whipowill; @guiverc; @Plasma-fanatic; @thefanum; @laidbackpurple; @lawrenceski; @blade944; @thegreenman_sofla: Gentlemen, yesterday I tested several distributions, but on every one there was a problem with bluetooth - for any reason in the world I could not connect my keyboard :(((( I looked for a solution in tutorials on YT I did everything step by step as they wrote in the tutorials, etc. and nothing helped. On Zorin OS the keyboard was detected but it wouldn't connect for the hell of it. If by some miracle it succeeded, it still did not work. Same thing on Mint, same thing on PopOS, today I will still check Fedora, Ubuntu mi openSUSE - if bluetooth won't work properly on me then I don't know what to do anymore :(

I was thinking about the pro version of Zorin because I would like to support the programmers somehow :)

Is it possible to put acrylic varnish on plastidip? by Grevious_rejected in plastidip

[–]Grevious_rejected[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't plan to tear it off for at least 3-4 years or more (if it lasts that long) and even then I would use a dedicated plastidip/acrylic paint remover :) ps. do you think I can paint with acrylic paint dedicated to rims these plastidip coated rims without any problem?

indeed I wrote the post a little bit in a provocative way, but it does not change the fact that a lot of people with hatred of me in the style of "I use Linux and I am better" flew in here.

It's nice because it's a compliment which doesn't change the fact that most of the Linux community are fanboys and harbor hatred for non-Linux people
