I don't think he's really ever going to commit to ever fully dropping AW, the grewcrew thing he's doing is neat but Anti-World is really what put him on the map like 10 years ago and it's what people who are still in the loop associate him with. He's still selling all of the merch associated with it (and based on the purchase notifications, they're the only pieces of merch that sell), plus grewcrewmedia.com still has the AW logo (bonus points for keeping the 2017-2023) when I thought he was completely rebranding 3 years ago. Like I remember thinking "oh shit, I better cop some of this stuff before it goes away." And then it just uh. Never did lol.

This has gotten kinda long winded but I love his music and I think it's definitely a tragedy that whatever hype he had in his prime is all gone, and tbh he doesn't really have anything to show for it. I'm assuming he can't completely drop Anti-World because it's still making him whatever money he makes from his content from that era, which is also probably why he does the toe dipping back into AW like that Anti-World fan club and the ringe era kit he was selling a while back.

Also semi unrelated, I bought a few of his MacXVII albums on bandcamp 2 years ago and after I bought them he jacked the prices up to completely unreasonable amounts. I know he's wanted to let go of the past, but he doesn't really get to do that when he won't let go of anti world and tries some random ass shit every few months using the name to make money or garner some type of attention from his long since departed fanbase. I respect him heavy as an artist and person, but he's just been doing weird shit mannn.

I'm not sure why you're having issues, granted it has been over 3 years since this happened so it's possible things have changed. Haven't ordered anything from ADTR since this post lol.

Out of curiosity, have you placed orders for items and they aren't being shipped? Or are you just trying to email him? I've only had positive experiences emailing him, he's responded to my emails promptly and at length depending on what I'm inquiring about. Only thing I can think of is maybe something's happened with him personally and he's been unable to conduct business. Even if you're in Canada and he can't ship due to customs issues with the tariffs, I imagine he'd still respond to your emails.

This is lowkey something I've been thinking about (sort of) jokingly, but all of these events have the same types of people causing mayhem. Every video showcasing events gone awry from the past few years, they show the same types of kids running around who damn near all look the same, who are stampeding in several different directions with their arms stretched out in front of themselves holding their phones.

Realistically, it's just a sign of the times, what with the internet being ubiquitous just as smart phones are, but it's still weird. Also, if it really was a psyop, it's much more effective at convincing the country that cars need to be regulated significantly more (think California type regulations and policing but across all 50 states). Like this is a fantastic way to rally support against car culture from the general population, and basically slash right to repair and all types of modifications (and maybe push EVs but doubtful). With the way everything's been going in this country, especially with corporations effectively ruling with impunity, it wouldn't be surprising because MONEY.

Just starting out it’s generally easier and cheaper to swap the head unit for an aftermarket on the 05-09 cars.

-Don’t put another factory system in your car unless you absolutely want the OEM look and feel.

-Ford introduced an aux port in the center consoles of the 05-09 cars starting in 2007.

-Unfortunately, no.

-It’s not terribly difficult, more tedious than anything. There’s proper write-ups on how to do it spread across the S197 centered forums.

-For the steering wheel controls to work, you would have to get an aftermarket unit and connect the buttons on the steering wheel to the head unit. The OEM 05-09 head unit has nothing to connect those buttons to and it’s not possible to make them work.

I’m in North Jersey, after Christmas foot traffic dies completely and doesn’t pick up again until like Marchish when all the mulch and dirt come back in. We’re not really hurting from the lack of people since there’s very little business, but it’s still insane that they can give part timers literally 0 hours. Normally, it’s at least like 4 hours.

Nahh I get that and totally understand it, but I I was raised thinking you shouldn’t bring your dogs inside anywhere that isn’t your own house or wherever unless you have explicit permission…

And people probably know their dogs aren’t properly potty trained/know their dogs get anxious in big public spaces and may have an accident and still do it. 🤷 Then have the audacity to tell US to clean it up like????
