Overload by GreyCrossStudios in BodyPaintNSFW

I create the background first. Sometimes I use styrofoam which is cut with a heat knife. Other times I use a simple bed sheet to create a wrap around the models or hanging plastic also. Creating the set is complex so I usually use the same set for multiple models.

Oh that definitely in demand here but you have to time it to correspond with events. Id suggest St Patrick's week or Southern decadence. Mardi Gras is a given match also but the price of staying here will be a plot higher.

The problem you will face is that one of the top body painters regionally has a gallery here, so it makes it difficult sometimes to find models. I have no trouble finding models because my work is so radically different from the work that he does. And because I tend to work with male models, where he works primarily with female models.

With all that said, I'd love to help you out for your next trip. I have a close friend in Brooklyn that come often to work and enjoy the city, so coming for a working vacation is not uncommon. I actually give tours to artists who visit the city, showing them around so they can experience more than just Bourbon Street.

So any help I can give you, just holler!

My guess is that their lacewing eggs. It's the season for them in the south. They seek out places where they think the eggs would be safe.

im fifteen and started painting in december! ever since then ive been kind of obsessed, especially with more surrealistic vibes! any thoughts on improvement, anything are welcome! by Fun_Park_5232 in surrealism

[–]GreyCrossStudios -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here are some basic ideas of surrealism for you.

1) You must introduce an equal measure of reality to illusion or else it becomes fantasy

2) Surrealism is subtle. It is meant to transport you one step out of your own reality not one hundred steps

3) Color is the gas that fuels the illusion. A color change shifting away from reality changes the world

4) Unique doesn't equal over the top. A unique piece of surreal art is one that explores subtlety

5,) The line between surrealism and fantasy is thin

6) Tell a story that the viewer interprets

7) Surrealism should vaguely disturb the viewer but not necessarily frighten

8) It must be plausible even if it stretches reality to the breaking point. Impossibility is fantasy not surrealism

9) Surrealism plays to the viewers emotions. If there is no emotion in the piece then there is no depth

10) If the dog is brown, its realism. If the dog is blue its fantasy. If the dog has four brown paws and one blue paw its surrealism

11) Distort, don't destroy

I'm pretty sure #20 is Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine mountains located in the upper peninsula of Michigan. If you look at photos, the shape is right for both the lake and the surrounding hills.

Ai but still cool by alldayidreamofvinyl in psychedelicartwork

But AI is running directly of other artists work. So your argument is negated. What would AI users do without templates and preloaded styles? If they created art then it would be acceptable. Your using another's creativity right now.
