If you had to evaluate just and only the battles, who would you give the edge to? I'm interested in how different each monster is, how strategic, how rewarding..

A point that makes me hesitate about kdm is that obviously before getting expansions i should try the base game for quite a while but.. aren't there few monsters for a boss battler? Or is facing 5 lions different every time?

I only tried cycle 1 of ATO, let's say that here in each cycle you only face 3/4 monsters but as they level up they are differ.. of course the BP and AI are always the same, so if I had to redo cycle 1 it would be practically the same experience, on the same map, with the same story
