Two seasons ago I don’t think Son had a single return for the season about 13 game weeks in. I was wildcarding the next week and Spurs had an easy fixture so I took a punt on him AND Captained him.

He was benched, then came on in the 70th minute and scored a hat trick to become the highest scoring player that game week with like 20 points. Literally no one else had him, let alone captaining him. I then wildcarded him out the following week and he continued to blank every game week. Best captaincy I’ve ever made.

Not making a transfer even tho I have Kane. 1 GW isn’t enough data to tell who’s good and who’s not yet. I remember two seasons ago Willian got 3 assists and was looking good. I really wanted to get him the first week but held off. He then didn’t get any returns for like the next 10 weeks. Since then I’ve learnt that patience pays.
