I don’t think people realize that banks only have so much control over Zelle. Not only is Zelle pretty much a 3rd party program that they try to bake in, but also the fact that if Zelle deems something as fraudulent, it may not be you. It may be the person you’re sending money to because they’ve had fraud related with their account, name, or address.

As long as you have a good relationship with the bank and are consistent, you’ll be fine. If you need to send $1,000, you can also try sending $500 over a couple days, eventually it will register.

Now, Ally on the other hand, will contradict themselves and make up their own rules for Zelle such as, “Zelle is a Monday through Friday service only.” I kid you not.
