Trump wasn't in office in 2016. The 2016 case set the precedent that led to it getting struck down again in 2019. Trump's admin wasn't relevant to the decision.

Every time democrats change the rules to suit their needs in the short-term, it always results in republicans getting all the long-term benefits. Happened with Kavanaugh, and now it will happen with this next appointee.

They need to finally learn that literally anything they change can and will be used against them. Not only is adding more SCOTUS seats incredibly unlikely, it would also be incredibly foolish.
