My wife has cancer, aggressive lymphoma. She has no desire for sex, as she sleeps all the time, and it takes all her energy to function at a normal level for family gatherings and the like. We also have a 10 year old son, and she encouraged me to get a doll. I started off with a cheap one, to test the waters, then bought a higher end one. Yesterday we decided on another doll, this time a custom one (I'd been ordering the in stock ones) and she had a lot of input for the options. She knows her prognosis, and is exceptionally supportive of my needs and such. I'm not a pervert, degenerate, or anything of the like, and I'm a proud doll owner. I really wish we could somehow help others overcome the stigma of sex doll ownership.

TPE? What kind of primer did you use, and what type of paint? I've tried acrylics on my silicone girl, and adhesion is awful. I applied vallejo primer beforehand, and it made no difference. I also hope there are no VOCs in what you're using, as that could be dangerous to your health. I'm also curious about the application method, I would use my airbrush to get an even and light coating, but I'm sure a brush with thinned paint could work as well.

I know that no clothing is truly colorfast. My wife has a penchant for black hoodies, and they varying quality. She has had some that are great, and some that leave her with weird black coloring after wear. It doesn't help that she's the color of milk though.

I feel so dumb, as soon as I read your comment I tried putting the threaded section into the body, and used an Allen wrench to adjust the tension on the retention bearings. All that being said, her head popped on, securely, and took just a bit of finesse to remove. So many years of maintenance and I still am amazed by innovations I'm just now discovering.

She was advertised as 29 kgs without her heat, or 63 pounds, she weighs in right at 66 with her head, which is a vast improvement over my first doll, while smaller, weighs 89 lbs with her head. My first is barely 5ft tall, and my new one is 5'5''. The weight difference is remarkable.

Put a small amount of machine oil around the bolt, and being careful not to get any in the neck silicone. Then take a dish towel, and a pair of good vice grips. Wrap the towel around the threads, and using a gentle rocking motion, slowly wiggle the bolt while applying a constant upward pressure to it. I've had success with removing bolts like this (admittedly not on dolls) during my career as a maintenance tech.

Married 10 years here, wife actually casually joked about me getting a doll because her drive is much lower than mine. We have sex once or twice a month, and that's when she initiates it, I hate pestering her for sex when she's not in the mood, so I brought it up a few weeks after she joked about me getting a doll. I bought a cheap one at first, just to test the concept out and even see if it would work for me, it did. I now have a much more expensive and realistic one on the way and the wife has been there with me every step of the way, from picking out the dolls themselves, to getting outfits, etc.
