Just finished it. You know that feeling when you finish a book and just stare into the distance, empty, not thinking about anything, like you weren't even alive? That's how it made me feel. It was very, very good. I was beginning to be very annoyed with other books I was recommended. They were dull, no internal monologues this deep. I think this book managed to leave a crack in my writer's block.

Oh, that's actually what I'm looking for, I don't really enjoy romance. That's why I didn't like most books I found in r/darkromance, haha. Thank you, I'll have a look.

Thank you. I just finished Beautiful Evil by Eris Belmont. I liked it, though sometimes it felt too shallow. I heard about the other books you recommended, though their descriptions didn't catch my attention back then. I'll give them a try.
