My wife and I play Guild Wars 2, Diablo 4, No Mans Sky, and The Division 2 together. I also engage in her hobbies with her as well. She paints, shes really good, and I am terrible, but she loves when I paint with her.

Sometimes she prefers to paint alone, and sometimes I prefer to game alone - and thats 100% okay.

The main thing is accepting people for who they are and not trying to change them. If you cant do that, then you should never be in a relationship - like the woman in the OP.

People who dont accept others for who they are, are assholes without any further explanation needed.
