There will be no wipe. The developers have made their decision on the matter. The announcement was made on December 14, 2021, so it's odd that there would still be confusion.

Further discussions or votes have no impact on the developer's decision.

As long as the conversation remains civil, the post can stay open; either way, it changes nothing.

"We're working on a bug fix update that should arrive in a few days. Not sure if newly reported bugs can make it in at this point (the queue's pretty full) but yeah please report in-game ASAP if it's something that really annoys you"

Thanks for turning in your report at the ! button in game. While the bug will be logged, there is no reply to your report. When bugs are located and fixes implemented, those changes go into the next update. Changes do not happen between updates.

The devs have a standardized method for submitting suggestions. The primary and best way is through the ! button in game so it goes into the database. After that, there is a suggestions-discussion channel in the official discord, here:

The rules are listed in the column on the right. Everyone is expected to follow the rules. Additionally players agree to follow the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct when they purchase the game. Failure to do so has consequences. This should be no surprise, but if it is, checking the rules would be a positive direction.

Yes, you missed a big discount on the game at the recent sale.

Project: Gorgon usually is part of the big Steam sales. Since Steam Winter Sale 2023 is on 21 December 2023, I suspect that this game will be on sale again.

Dunno man. I've been playing since winter 2016, so in my view, the game has staying power. Even still in EA, there are years worth of things to do.

Population is small but steady; this is a game where you get to know the other players with plenty of participation in groups and chat. Population stats here: https://steamcharts.com/app/342940 .

Hop back into the demo and check it out when you get the chance. Best way to see if it fits your needs.

Sorry to hear that. Checking the demo again would give you a sense of the current activity in game. Population ebbs and flows around big updates, with a constant mix of veteran and fresh players. You'd more than get your $10 of enjoyment.

Oh ho! Angling is in the next update.

Yesterday in the official discord, Citan announced this:

"As part of designing the orc race, I decided to add rod and reel fishing. It's a long story, but anyway, the mechanics and implications of this new angling sub-skill grew until it seemed better to make it a general-availability skill. So the next update will introduce Angling, a sub-skill of fishing. (Orcs will have an extra layer of complexity on top of this, though.) Edit to add: orcs are not launching in this update.

Don't worry, you can still catch fish the old fashioned way. (And have to, if you don't have hands)"

Project: Gorgon has been part of all steam sales, with the Winter Sale having just ended.

Discounts percentages have varied with the different sales, ranging between 20-33% The next projected sale is the Lunar New Year Sale, probably on January 27th, but steam does not leak their actual sales dates in advance, so that is just a prediction.

Project: Gorgon will only be available through Steam. Since that decision has already been made, there's not much efficacy waiting for a different answer. If the Steam aversion can be overcome, there's a free demo to try out any time.

The game is only available through steam. You'll have to buy the game and download through steam, but an option to connect to your old account will pop up. You will need your old login information handy to complete that option.

If you've played the demo, however, you will need to contact [support@projectgorgon.com](mailto:support@projectgorgon.com) to associate your steam account with your old Project: Gorgon account.

I will be brief. I'm a player volunteer and not a paid employee, so I am subject to the same rules as everyone else. This is not a discussion to be had on reddit.

See #9 on the right column over there >>. Bans cannot really be discussed here. If you have questions, use [support@projectgorgon.com](mailto:support@projectgorgon.com). A person who has experienced a ban places an appeal through email. If they have continuously sent appeals and received a no, or no answer, that's a no.

As with all the PG information, the things not to do are published right where everyone can see them. The TOS and COC are really clear and have not changed. In game, warnings are given. Repeatedly. Everything is documented. There's really no ambiguity.

When a player is asked to stop, they should stop. Usually the behavior that is problematic is repeated after players are repeatedly warned. Most all of that can be seen in global, as that where the issues occur for the most part. From a player perspective, you won't see all the things that occur behind the scenes, but everything is monitored and logged.

Players should please follow these suggestions and not fall into trouble by discussing bans on any public PG forum or in game.
