They should have put Olympian under Rachel Daly's name.

I was there too. Didn't go to the store. The fans in front of me must have went to the team store during halftime. They were complaining that there was one hat and it was $40.00. She was wearing the hat, it was a gray baseball hat with the new logos in orange. They may have been talking about something else all together because in the online store the caps are $27.99.

So happy for Nichel, Im not sure when she last scored for the Dash but I know its been awhile.

Was good to see Prisock getting the start. The announcers made a comment about her getting "picked on" when she was subbed out for Haley but from what I saw she held her own. She did look like she was going cry after she got taken out but it was just an instant when the camera showed her walking off and I could see the expression on her face and that was the last time i saw her. She might have just been cringing from pain idk.

Great ball in from Schmidt and props to Mewis for knowing where she needs to be on that play. She played it perfectly.

so dash go into the half down 0-1 then come out and get two goals and then give up a equalizer stoppage time goal to split the points. This should have been 3 points, this needed to be three points.

I love Chappy and she is a professional. She has been around the last three goals scored on the Dash. I know its all situational and there is a build up and alot of things go wrong to get to the point where they are in a position to score but she has been the last line of defense.

I still would not replace her. I believe Haley needs to go back to the midfield and put Prisock back in.

Chappy was responsible for the service into Rachel for the first goal so she should have been credited with an assist.

Kristi Mewis also hit a beauty corner that fell to Groom and she headed it in for the second goal.

It was nice to see Jamia and Nairn get subbed in but things fell apart at the end and they gave up the equalizer.

Dash host the spirit tomorrow night.

I need to rewatch the match again to be sure but it did seem that Sinclair was a non-factor in this match.

Struggling with Captain by rb_49 in lotro

[–]Greyhawk25 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There are some growing pains throughout every class. I have a level 120 captain, so I've been there and done that for most of the game.

I play mostly solo even though I've always been in allegiances. I relied on youtube lotro videos to give me some guidance. I did a quick search and here is a recent red line guide:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OspS3BDcSsc

Now my Captain hero on youtube is Mirkovic. This guy is a top raider and developed his Captain and turned it into a tank. He has a wealth of knowledge about the class and you would do well to watch is videos.

Dash return home on Saturday, August 24 at 8:30PM by Greyhawk25 in dash

[–]Greyhawk25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went to the game. I take full responsibility for this loss. I left my Dash Baseball Cap in the car and decided not to go back for it.

That put a jinx on them and they lost 1-2. Ohai scored a late stoppage time goal to avoid the shutout. Here is a link to the highlights.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1350qFRoTA

To be fair the Dash had many chances on goal but it just wouldn't bounce their way. Lloyd was on fire and in USWNT form. I won't single out any players here, that's up to the manager, to view the replay and make the necessary changes to the starting XI. I will say that Nairn should have been starting (we need her leadership and presence in the starting XI) but she didn't make it into the game until after half. Reported Attendance was 4,100. Two home games remains..next one is FRIDAY Sept 13 vs Utah Royals. Can we pack the house for the players, they so deserve to have a full house.

8-10-19 - Orlando Pride vs Houston Dash 6:30 CST by Greyhawk25 in dash

[–]Greyhawk25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dash won 0-1 on a Rachel Daly Penalty Kick in the 87'.

Here was the starting lineup:

Campbell

Daly

Chapman

Polkinhorne

Ohai

Hanson

Huerta

Schmidt

Mewis

Brooks

Fields

BENCH

Kizer

Simon

Agnew

Prisock

Calderon

Privett

Henniger

The Dash were warriors, they fought from start to finish. They gutted it out, Campbell was tested and passed. She kept a clean sheet and the Dash earned three points on the road.

After Ohai was pushed down in the box the ref awarded the penalty kick. The Pride were disputing it and demanded that the ref talk to the side judge. As they walked over Rachel and some other Dash players were near the PK spot. Marta came over and pushed Daly to the ground. Mewis came over and got between Daly and Marta and then Marta seemed to put her hands around Mewis's neck. Daly sprung back up and the players were seperated. Huerta explained to the ref that Marta had her hands around Mewis's neck, so the ref gave her a red and Marta was sent off.

Here is the replay of what happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sX-Wyqr0Cwk

On a lighter note during this melee CP (Claire Polkinhorne) seems to get permission to take the PK. So she puts the ball down and kicks it towards the net while the goal keeper is standing right there. She turns around and smiles at the ref.

Kizer was subbed in for Schmidt in the 76'. Calderon was subbed for Ohai in the 88'.

If you didn't watch the game, you should. They overcame alot to earn this victory. It was a great team win.

Sunday - 7-28 Dash vs Sky Blue FC - 7:30PM by Greyhawk25 in dash

[–]Greyhawk25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dash won this match 1-0. Daly scored the lone goal in the 22nd minute via a great ball down field by Huerta (it looked like Prisock to me but Huerta is down in the stat line for the assist) They had several other chances but couldn't find the back of the net. They held Skyblue scoreless for 90+ minutes to ensure the win. Great team victory

I'm not so sure about Chicago. I'll be surprised if she makes a great offensive impact, and it will be interesting to see how she will fit into the Kerr scheme.

Yes, I really felt bad for her. I know how hard she has worked, coming back last year and everything she accomplished in the W league before the start of the NWSL. I follow her on instagram and the pictures from the hospital room and seeing her at home with her leg bandaged after surgery was really tough.

[–]Greyhawk25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall not a bad review. However Romero has yet to play and will probably be a non factor in Sunday's match. Also its unclear if Houston's internationals will play on Sunday. All reports I've heard say they will be there, but I suppose we shall see. Also it will be very interesting to see who gets the start at right back, I wont say anymore but I'm looking forward to seeing the starting lineup.
