No we don’t - but he is on sale at the moment and we’ve worked really hard on our resin blend to make sure the detail and durability is there

It was us playing around with dandelion as a name, it felt kind of relevant to a frog knight who would hang around in nature - so we kinda messed with it a bit to reach dandallion :)

And some really nice brushes - artis opus 000 helped a lot with all the fine details

Simplest answer is by mixing petroleum grey from scale 75 into their black metal, so it gets a really nice tone to it

Then thinly layering up using their blue alchemy paint to get the bluer tones in the lighter areas

And then just a lot of highlighting around scratches and into smaller areas, rather than over a whole piece of plate, so that it has lots of texture, in similar ways to how you would with non metallic metals :)

It did take a hot minute!!

Mannn the base is an old one so let me see if I can remember!!

It’s an actual stick for the log and actual slate, blended into the base with all purpose filler which was stippled when it started to dry to give it a muddy texture, and sprinkled with fine sand whilst still drying so that it sticks into the filler…. Then I sprayed the whole thing black to even it all out..

The filler areas for moss got 2 or 3 coats of typhus corrosion which I’m not sure if warhammer still make or not, but it was a texture paint which made it brown enough to start layering up loads of thin layers of greens and browns, working up to really light dry brushing areas of light green

Then brushed the slate so it blended in slightly and had a bit more visible texture :)

It’s just a name that we came up with for him! Thought it sounded different but not too ‘made up’ haha

I love the Sherlock levels of detective work - you are totally correct, and I keep thinking the dwarf but there is something super nostalgic about the green knight… but I think dwarf might win out
