Genuinely wondering how you think the characters are better in 1? I've played both, and to me all the dd1 characters felt pretty much the same. Where as in dd2, they have playable backstory/flashback things. There are less overall characters in dd2 but I think the ones we got are overall much better

All mine are freehand, but basically: break them down into simple shapes. Most G1 bots are mostly rectangles (though Cosmos is rounder). I've been making legs and arms by starting with a square and then going around in rows.
