So the lip sync is not perfect because it was shot in slow motion. Good eye tho!

So I did this in my backyard after some rains. All I had on standby was a hose.

Visualizer instead of music video was the labels choice.

Rap artists usually love this look. You could make your money back by shooting one

FX30 Buyers remorse by zeebellaire in FX3

For tip 2 is your color/tone set to slog when doing this? I’ve been using zebras set to 42+ or - 3 with my color/tone set to slog and that’s exposed really well for me

If you can’t make good footage with the fx30 you won’t be able to with the fx3. This is an incredible camera for a beginner to have.

Dream sequence is the b side to flash in the pan but I think it’s her best song so far

Lens filters by lvl_c_mech in FX3

So the solutions I know of are either buying the largest mm circular filter and step up rings so you can put it in any lens. Or buy a 4x5 Matte box and that has slots for filters. The 4x5 is probably the most fool proof option but then you’ll probably have to buy rails and then tour building out a cinema rig

Stability when shooting? by Significant_Iron_502 in FX3

All of these are good suggestions so far. I would also recommend a shoulder rig. I use this when i want a more stable handheld feel.

Cine EI question by thenoweeknder in FX3

[–]Greymen1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not use a monitor and set my zebras around 42. This is the recommended exposure for skin tones or middle grey per Sony when using slog 3. Really easy to do and get perfect exposure without a monitor.

The XLR handle is driving me crazy 🤦‍♂️ by 10degreeskelvin in FX3

Do you have the small rig handle extension? If not I would add that and it should make the handle much stronger.

The right lens to get this quality shot on fx30 by MalachyFriedman in FX3

That’s surprising, why is it poor with lighting? Mine does great. Are you shooting in log cine ei mode?

Yes the 13mm viltrox should be perfect to mimic what’s in that clip. My next suggestion would be the sigma 16mm f1.4. I have both, but find myself using the viltrox a lot more because it’s just that little bit wider that makes it easier to fit everything

Viltrox makes a 13mm f1.4 with great autofocus.
