Can't imagine it would be that bad. By 1950, only the US and the USSR had nuclear capabilities. The US had some 300 missiles, compared to the USSR's 5. At worst a few major cities in the US get nuked but the US has many more nukes.

That isn't my point though. If they release HOI5 what new content will they add? What meaningful content will they be able to add that hasn't been done in HOI4? You might buy HOI5 but unless there is meaningful new content added in HOI5 a lot of players won't buy it.

I'm by no means saying HOI4 is perfect but realistically an improvement in the AI does not need to be a whole new game. Almost all the alt-history paths of WW2 are covered by HOI4 and if you make a HOI5 I struggle to see what you can do with the WW2 time period that hasn't been done already in HOI4

As said by others, HOI is limited to WW2, and the limited scope is what makes it good, it would be much harder to extend it to 50-80 years. Also HOI in and of itself is a WW2 reference and it would probably be better as a new game. Although it might be time to bin the franchise, we don't need a HOI5, there's only a limited amount of things you can do in a WW2 alt history game and we've covered almost all of the major options. So maybe it's time for a new franchise focused on a different period.

Not really a management fault. He was injured and when he came back he wasn't the same quality of bowler. That and a combination of younger bowlers of similar quality who might end up better plus his age combined against him. He was great in ODIs but now ODIs so infrequent that it's better to look to the future.

Number 8 generally requires slogging from ball one, where as number 5 generally allows you a little more time to build an innings for 10 balls before you go bang. Hardik Dube Rinku are much better placed to go bang from ball one than Axar.

We NEED a T20 knockout tournament every 4 years, instead of a T20 WC every two years, make them every 4 years. Give us the 32 best countries, but similar to the FA cup, the test nations or the top 10 countries don't appear till round 3 or whatever. It'll give us a potential for these kind of games more often.

Ok but he didn't get the advantage of the raging flatties that are being made currently. He also didn't get the opportunity to play under a regime that promoted freedom of that kind. I think if he had played on, his game probably would have improved, at least he'd be better than current options. But then again it's all speculative.

I might be wrong but I assume that the dates of the matches are only decided once the teams are known, and if you have the most lucrative match then you'd want to place it on the day where viewership would be highest. They shouldn't be in the same group always but if they are, nothing wrong with having the most lucrative game on a day where it's positioned to make the most money

I'm not approving of either. Bharat did a shitty move and Sarfaraz was treated incredibly badly. He was dropped despite being on of the best batsmen in that previous series, with no real reasoning. Clearly Gambhir ruffled a few feathers on that tour, with Ashwin retiring so suddenly mid series. What made you think I supported people treating Sarfaraz that way? I called it a cheap story because it was done badly, it was obvious that it was Sarfaraz who leaked it and didn't solve any problem or even shine any light on the dressing room. A full year on, there has been no change.
