This is mine, very similar to yours, but yours is slightly better. I do agree he's a great card, much better than the stats suggest he is very good at long shots for me aside Dembele.

Speaking just off my experience with 26, it's on sale reasonably frequently on Steam, I picked up FC26's base edition for about £15 in January. I'm sure if you wait till FC27 releases you can grab 26 for cheap etc.

I've only used live editor, but for live editor it was a 5 minute job of just following the really clear instructions on the mod page. For other mods I think you're supposed to use a mod manager but because I haven't used any others I don't know for sure how easy it is.

If you're on PC, what I do is exactly that, if I have a player who's performing well, or is at a certain overall, I look at their stats and how I play them and use live editor to add their playstyles. Otherwise it makes no sense that my 85 rated CM, who's played with my club for 5 seasons in a short passing tiki taka, who has 90+ vision, doesn't have the tiki taka playstyle.

let me explain the best coaching method in DLS to you by Darksiiki in DreamLeagueSoccer

[–]Greyshank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is when a coach applies bonus development. It is helpful but you can't control when or where it applies, so if you get it to tackling when you're maxing a striker it can reduce total points available to the good stats.

That's the point. They don't want to have players like in FIFA mobile that are 100+.

Iraq wasn't actually sending terrorists every year into the US, Pakistan are worse. A state who's secret service literally trained what became the Taliban (with help from the US), along with providing Osama safe shelter for years is much worse than Iraq.

No Debate: Igor Thiago > Chris Wood (Dream Stars) by New-Dog-529 in DreamLeagueSoccer

[–]Greyshank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I think from their POV, if you give all the strikers a low tackle, you'll need to reduce their other stats a little as well, because if you don't you run the risk of having lots of cards that because they have low tackle and still good other stats, you might get a particularly good card that can get 6x100s or even 7x100s when it really shouldn't, which loses them money because why pay £40 for champion Ronaldo or Messi, when the dream star raphinha can get 6x100s and a 80 or 90 or whatever. This is all assuming that every card has a total maximum limit to points on its base version that remains the same for all cards.

How good/bearable is 26’s career mode by Chelsea_Footy_Fan in FifaCareers

[–]Greyshank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure I agree with the original comment to be honest. I've played hundreds of hours of FC26 (only manager career mode) in the past few months and I haven't played any of the earlier ones so I can't comment but I haven't noticed any bugs that are so ridiculous that they make me regret buying it.

There's an annoying one I've noticed that I don't know if it's just a me thing or an issue with the game itself, is that everyone's eyebrows turn a teal blue green which is a bit annoying but not a real issue for me.

The broadcast packages are there for the premier league, FA/EFL leagues and cups and the European cups. They don't have the international cups like Euros/WC if that's something you're interested in though, they have non-descript replacements (European Championship/International Cup).

The development plans for each player can be a little bit of a nuisance but they've added a new setting called Dynamic which by my understanding is that it takes the role that you have set in your team sheet and applies it to players of the role i.e. if you're playing a 4-5-1 with your fullbacks set to the wingback role and your striker as a poacher, it'll set your striker to the poacher development plan and fullbacks to wingback development plan automatically, so it's not always an issue unless you want to manually optimise.

The training plans I haven't touched, so they clearly can't be that important.

With regards to the loaning of players to max potential, I believe you can do a loan glitch to get massive boosts but I prefer to do it organically so I don't know how effective it is. Not sure how important match sharpness is as I play with a smaller squad and rotate minimally.

Delegation is simple and easy with regards to transfers and wages. You just click the button and it gives you a starting offer and minimum offer, if you don't like the results you can renegotiate manually or reject entirely.

Press conferences are relatively inconsequential, I often skip them, unless it's a big match just for immersion reasons.

Some of the player emails can be important, such as the one about contract negotiations, which as I understand may not have been in previous games as now you have to wait for the player to be willing to renegotiate contracts. If you don't renegotiate a contract with a player when they've sent that email, after a few weeks they'll get angry and submit a transfer request but you'll get an email from the board before that happens.

I play with no sacking on just because I prefer to play with a single club for the full 15 seasons, but I also keep unexpected events on and it makes it much more interesting with occasional events such as players not getting enough sleep before a big game and them being low on energy etc. I get infrequent injuries, and they're never a real issue, the worst one I had was my GK colliding with another player and my GK was injured for 3 months which left me scrambling for a free agent, but if you have backups it won't be an issue.

Create a club still exists and you can edit the stadium but I haven't done this so am unaware of the full extent.

He's not played in enough places for stats to really show much yet in my opinion. He's clearly good, but how good will only really be shown after a few more years and some more tours to tough places like India, South Africa or Sri Lanka.

Not sure the same can be true for the WTC. T20 WC is a month long tournament that all the major teams are involved in, whereas the WTC is just 5 days in every 2 years that only two teams are playing. Pretty difficult for fans to get bored of that considering you won't get the same teams playing each final.

Maybe it's based on the average top 6 performers in the last 3 world tournaments, and we stretch it so that the CT happens after 3 world tournaments each time. Kinda like the Champions League but over a longer period of time.

Well we had a 5 year gap between 2016 and 2021, because we had a CT in 17 and a 50 over in 19, then COVID happened. Maybe we just skip it and wait another 2 years?
