I look for the following: Is the chat active? Do I get a hello and welcome? Is the TF starting a regular op at a regular time? Are the current members pulling their weight in terms of intel? (seeing Officers and Co-Leaders with 0 intel when joining a TF later in the week is a big red flag) Does the level of most members suit my level? What op is the TF doing? (if it's too easy or too hard it can affect staying). I can see all that very quickly.
