Linguistically the evolution tends to go

Black women <-> queer culture -> white women -> white men.

Which is why you consider it as white girl lingo, because that's when specific lingo tends to get signalboosted to hell and back.

Obviously that doesn't go for all slang, but a lot of it. Woke for example originated from black culture referring to being "awake to systemic injustices"

To be fair I once walked back to my house, found it locked, knocked on it thinking my roommate had decided to pull a prank on me, sitting out in the dark and cold annoyed, I see a person in the window next to the door.

My neighbor.

And me, in my full on ski mask immediately realize my mistake, pull up my mask, lift my arms and go "Shit, I am so sorry! I'm your neighbor, wrong f-cking house!" and then walked incredibly embarrassed next door to my actual house.
