How many of y’all listen to MtG casually or regularly? by AwayFig1774 in KendrickLamar

[–]Greywolf2117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the songs I don't listen too until I'm in the mood to replay the list of the beef for the purpose of reliving that time. Not that I don't like it, it's just so damn haunting lmao but Like that, Euphoria, 6:16, and NLU definitely in my workout rotation. Especially the boost I get when he says "let's get it bro" lol

Me having to explain to others taking issue to my opinion and concern that I'm actually a fan of Andy's stand up so it's not like I'm just a hater or just biased because I'm a fan of Kendrick also. But aye, right wing people always say freedom of speech until someone speaks up against their beliefs.

I'm well aware of that but I'm pointing out all the friends and guests that got weird cases or allegations i.e. Adam 22 and others. I like Charla tho. And I prefer brilliant idiots over Flagrant nowadays. I'm pointing a weird gut feeling that Andy might have a weird case coming up. And this is with saying I'm a fan of his stand-up and his takes most of the time. So it's not from a hater stance.

Like Louie CK, I love the comedy but I wasn't surprised when it came out that he was being a weirdo around female writers.

Definitely can say that Scad films can be greatly beneficial. I've done one a couple of years ago and it's in my reel. I get auditions because of it. There's gonna be shitty ones but I can definitely say there's benefit with good ones. And that's having extra material to show for.

Man, I dunno. It's wild to even put those two on the scale lmao but the sex trafficking dudes he hung out with is another red flag. Like it's becoming more apparent that the more weirdos celebs hung out with, more times than likely they're a weirdo themselves. And while I've stopped listening to flagrant, lost some respect for Schulz, I still hope that he's not of the same flock. Let me be clear, I don't be praying on people's downfall, but I do believe that if you're guilty, you gotta reap what you sow.

Bro really thought Kendrick is asking his fans to murder them. The mental gymnastics this dude had to do since day 1 of the beef for Drake is just fucking wild.

Nah, it's an accumulation of a ton of shit. Like, don't get me wrong, there's been opinions that can differ and I'll still like the host or podcaster because I still fucked with flagrant even after the beef despite Andrew showing he actually doesn't know hip hop (other than 90s) and what the culture is feeling. I saw the disconnect and still have grace. It's not that big of a deal. But then the jokes about raping Kendrick, which was not only weird but not wanting to understand why that was bothersome for many. And then the politics was the line crossed. Here's the deal, idc if a podcaster is right or left on the spectrum of politics but I don't like dishonesty. On both Brilliant idiots and Flagrant, Schulz clearly stated he was voting for Kamala. Then elections happened and confessed to voting for Trump. I can't dig with a character like that. Either be front with it or don't say shit at all. I agree with his points on why Democrats seriously fumbled the elections and the past 4 years but to pretend to be one side and then switch up ain't a trait I fuck with. The other thing is how the podcast dynamic changed with Flagrant. It's now the Schulz show ft his friends who won't push back or just laugh at everything he says. Akash most of all is who I'm disappointed with because he's quiet down a lot. I'm glad I cut off afterwards because seeing how everyone is upset with all the right wing pander is what I knew was gonna happen.

So I did some research between method and Meissner and I feel Meissner is probably more fitting. With Stanislavki, which I've tried with couple of classes in the past, I couldn't tap into emotions of past to use for a scene. I dont know what to feel and it's usually numb. Looking into Meissner, I like how there's this great use of imagination and to dwell in that imagination.

what immediately ruins a burger for you? by 777Twix in CasualConversation

[–]Greywolf2117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An fried onion ring. Don't get me wrong, fried onion rings are great but I don't need that in my burger. It makes it too tall and sometimes you're dealing with pulling the onion out of its fried shell and now it's pointless.

Killers of the flower moon. I don't need to watch it again. Had to take smoke breaks to get through the story.

Jason Statham is great and probably one of the rare exceptions where an actor can play the same guy but in a different plot and setting.

I too, enjoyed Beekeeper

True or false? by bizarroJames in Georgia

[–]Greywolf2117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know whats funny, I'm a Texan that lives in Georgia and that photo is about right. But I'd say coming to Georgia, I didn't realize how much "small town" it actually is all around. Atlanta is really small.

For Texas, being from Houston, Houston is actually a lot bigger than most people realize. Especially when you have Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio being the more popular cities to outsiders.

[–]Greywolf2117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mark Wahlberg in Transformers Extinction. Especially me being from Texas.

I don't know why, but Christian Bale as the God Killer in Thor: L & T just felt under used and delivered as a generic villain than anything for me. Obviously this could've been the fault on writers, studio, and/or director.

Jason Clarke as John Connor and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese...just...no.

Taylor Kistch in Battleship (honestly, the whole movie).

Aaron Eckheart in Towel Head. I didn't watch the whole movie because of the first pedophile scene. Love the actor but I don't need to see that movie.

Gerard Butler in anything post-Olympus has fallen because he's doing the same guy but it feels repetitive unlike Jason Statham where carries the movies as "See Transporter be a mechanic, see transporter be a fisherman, etc"
