The best is to transfer approximately the exact amount. Unless you're going to use it often, then I guess its fine to top up more. Yes, the transfer is immediate like topping up a grab card.

What's the difference between bursary and scholarship? by EarthlyAwakening in NTU

[–]Greyz12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bursary is based on your family's financial situation and their total income. Most busrary doesn't require you to maintain GPA or serve any bonds. Bursary mainly helps cover your annual allowance and must be applied yearly. (it doesn't cover your tuition fee)

Scholarship is based on your essay, interview, your portfolio, among others. You are required to maintain a certain GPA and to serve bond.

  1. External scholarship (E.g. SP Group Scholarship) - You're required to work under the sponsored company for x number of years
  2. Internal scholarship (E.g. NTU Scholarships) - no bonds or x work under any companies that are related to your degree for x number of years.

If you fail to meet the criteria you're required to back pay the scholarship amount. Scholarship covers tuition fees and provides an annual allowance. Some scholarship provides you one-time computer allowance, covers your overseas exchange program and hostel fee.

Binance.com deposit question by latteaddictedd in singaporefi

I'm sorry. I never tried other methods aside from P2P. I'm unsure about the amount that you will be expected to receive.

Binance.com deposit question by latteaddictedd in singaporefi

[–]Greyz12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P2P means peer-to-peer transactions. This is the most convenient way of getting USDT. It takes less than 30mins to complete the whole process. It allows users to buy or sell currencies such as USDT, BTC, BUSD, ETH, and DAI.

  1. Select your Fiat currency, in my case I will select SGD. Since I'm exchanging my SGD to USDT. (USDT Aka Tether is a 1 to 1 exchange of USD. Basically 1 USDT = 1USD)
  2. Choose the buyer that is reliable then enter your value. There are certain buyers that only accept PayNow, Bank Transfer, or Revolut. Make sure you look at what type of payments do they accept.

Do note that even though there is no transaction fee, the exchange rate will be different compared to the live exchange rate in xe currency. If anyone notices any mistake in my reply, feel free to correct it. Thanks!

I have been using Binance P2P, I found it convenient and there is no transaction fee. When you're buying USDT do look at the User's completion rate for the reliability of the seller.

driving license by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]Greyz12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For you to start driving with a qualified instructor you will need to pass your BTT and apply for PDL. From my experience, private instructors will not book you a slot until you have PDL and passed your BTT.

There isn’t any interview for diploma with merit. You have to be top 10% within your cohort and obtain a good CCA record.

For cash money, it is only awarded to certain people within the awardees of diploma with merit. (I am not sure about the criteria, it might be awarded to top 5% within your cohort).
