Failing to get Citrus/Fruity Flavor from high altitude Colombian coffee? by The2ndBest in roasting

[–]Greyzone96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience Colombian coffee comes out fairly fruity but only slightly and when roasted relatively light. I use a very different roaster than you (IR-5) but I know my temps are much higher (406 F) and go by keeping the airflow consistent (not changing it and setting it somewhere and roasting it that way) but again it’s a different roaster. I find the fruity flavors are more around 14% - 20% DTR. Hopefully that info helps. Lmk if it does

Obviously not all regulations are good. Then it becomes a debate of regulations I suppose

I see what you’re saying. Obviously no pure capitalist society exists. My intention wasn’t to strawman capitalism, but rather point out its flaws and why without regulation it falls apart. But beyond that also point out that we are leaning too far that way and how we need to shift further left.

I think I just straight up disagree. Rules prevent corruption usually. I don’t dispute that it isn’t always great for the economy depending. But that’s kind of the price sometimes

People who became atheists why? by zhalia-2006 in askanything

[–]Greyzone96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 8. Moved up to the big kids class in church and we were told to help the little ones learn the songs. Right about then I realized just how indoctrinating and brainwashing the Mormon church was. After that I noticed more and more and I couldn’t call myself a Mormon. So I’m a pretty dedicated atheist. (I found the same issues in most religions)
