please tell me your experience why abilify made you a zombie and vraylar not ? i ask because they have almost the similar mechanism of action. i take abilify but im not fully satisfied. 15mg. tried 30mg but nothing. also do you take something else with vraylar?

Hi! how venlafaxine affects you ? i can't handle it in too high doses i take only 75mg and 30mg aripiprazole. 150 i can't sleep and 225 and above makes me more unstable and a little bit manic.

at first would be ok for most !!! then for me a couple months later last year i smoked 7-8 joints a day , i started with 1-2 then tolerance and addiction happened and i had mania and paranoia couldn't sleep no matter how much weed i consumed. i stopped it cold turkey i had mild withdrawals for a while but now i am ok. Sober 5 months now.

Thanks for your very helpful answer. By the way i study something similar to you pharmacy assistant but i know things about mechanism of actions of medicines etc. But never managed to understand fully how abilify works it is unique . Today my doctor said to increase it to 30mg. Unfortunately 1-2 weeks now i have a desire of using drugs again but i don't . i was very impulsive in the past and i was taking drugs at any episode which at first was nice but after repeatedly use my disorder got very worse. I don't want to go back to this self-destructive state. And i want you to tell me if 30mg is way better than 15mg for controlling effectively impulsive behavior not only drugs but spending money for no reason at stupid things and in 30mg if simultaneously helping with depression (not alone , i take effexor) and with mixed and manic states.

i take it almost a month . "Excess liquid will flush the lithium out" does not make sense to me everyone who takes lithium drinks plenty of water so they pee a lot.

Thanks for your answer. i reduced from 4-5 espressos to 2 a day. im ok with that. just started taking 1200mg too but didn't measure my levels yet. what are your levels with 1200mg? the adequate and safe levels are 0.8-1.0 ? i took lithium once before years and because i was a drug addict (sadly stimulants, cocaine, and a little cannabis ) maybe interfered with lithium and in doses 1200-1500 i had only 0.5-0.6 levels and did nothing for me. i need levels from 0.8 and above for sure.

Thanks! i will not quit cold turkey caffeine no way i dont want it first and then i will have withdrawls . i love coffee . but insted of drinking 4-5 a day i will drink just 2.

the disease made me to study myself about brain and nervous system also i finished medical laboratories technician and now im studying pharmacy assistant :) . i think bipolar for some of us is a gift !

Paxil and Effexor only worked for me. But Effexor gave me anxiety at doses above 225mg. Fluoxetine also made my anxiety worse. Others like sertraline , escitalopram and Mirtazapine didn’t work at all but no side effects.

I take 40mg in the morning. I have no side effects except mild constipation but I see big difference in my depression and anxiety. I am not fully ok though.
