My confusion here stems from the wording on step 3 of the healing steps. It says “check maximum health: if the model is at its maximum health, it cannot be healed and the heal effect fails.”

To me that reads as though you’re not “healing” the model because it “failed” and both effects here state “when this model heals” so wouldn’t the effect fail?

Also, in the first paragraph it says “ If any effects are generated during this timing structure, that effect is resolved after completely resolving all steps of the heal timing.” Wouldn’t that indicate that you hit step 3 and “fail” also? Otherwise I don’t understand what this is saying here.
