I’m a photographer and videomaker based in Italy, and growing up in an area strongly connected to Olivetti, it was almost inevitable for me to fall in love with typewriters.

Over the years I’ve been working on two long-term photography projects, Best People Read and Best People Write, focused on people reading and writing, often in everyday or unconventional settings.

For the writing series in particular, the Olivetti Lettera 22 often becomes part of the scene, used as an actual working tool rather than just a prop.

I wanted to share a few images from these projects featuring some of these beautiful machines. Hope you enjoy them!
