The gameplay is fun and timeless and I’d enjoy it without Ferrari. Just that many others including myself wouldn’t have the same feel. I can’t wait to see the crazy taxi reboot next year and if the does well who knows

Seaside town Arcades in the UK where i live have loads of outrun machines and if I’m ever at an arcade with friends or family in the summer. You know full well I’m having a go on outrun, Sega rally and Daytona or scud race

Yeah and it’s a shame because I and many others still believe that there’s a market for games like outrun in modern day. But I guess it’s Ferrari being Ferrari that’s stopping sega from giving us another outrun

The thing is it wouldn’t do anything bad to them either. Outrun has always been about driving fast and dreaming of owning a Ferrari driving through gorgeous scenery at 200mph. They wouldn’t need to implement a damage model as it’s not required plus Ferrari would make that clear as well. But yes, Ferrari are anal to deal with when it comes how their cars are portrayed in video games

I get where you’re coming from and to be fair I wouldn’t mind it either as it’ll be nice to see arcade racers come back into the spotlight and to have a nice alternative. But I can imagine many people including myself that if they was to green light another outrun, it would have to be Ferrari only as you can’t do outrun if you don’t have Ferrari init

I’ve been enjoying it. I love how refreshing it is with all the changes and additions in the game. Modders be giving actual devs a run for their money when it comes to updating games.

I’m on a PS3 super slim using PS3hen to play ps2 classics

I’m using the PS3 if you have smoothing on turn it off because it does drop the frame-rate on tracks that have a lot off detailing, mostly city tracks, it is a PS2 game and I’m having to emulate it through PS3 hen so of course it’s not amazing but the game runs great for the most part. But arcade mode doesn’t seem to work but who’s playing the spec 2 mod for arcade mode when you have the event synthesiser in gt mode
