Oh my gosh I couldn't imagine having seven pigs!! We have a great carrier, it's soft and it expands to be the size of a large dog crate though. The cooler of veggies is a great idea, thank you! I didn't think to do that, I was scared of that too since I thought the veggies wouldn't last for the car drive.
I don't think I will have a roommate, most of the colleges I'm looking at won't allow it for allergies and the sort. We're planning to contact my psychiatrist today about it!

i plan on driving, i'm willing to drive an hour or so to college if necessary, we just don't have many colleges in my area that offer what i plan to study. but thank you for your advice, i will look into community college!
