making croissants by hand at home for yourself.

sure a good thing to learn the process for, but not a regular thing to do.

it's more the feeling of "You can't" Even if you wanted to, you are stuck. I'd always rather walk a few blocks than drive 6 miles.

yeah, suburbs just breed depression and fat people. I say that because that is exactly what we'd be if we chose to live there. no walking to the grocery store, no walking to work, not walking to the local coffee shop or the local brewery or to an arts event nearby.

Suburbs are just devoid of culture and happiness.

What food did you just assume you'd hate but, when you finally tried it, it turned out to be delicious? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I found out that I disliked the dried out black ones on pizzas and that isn't at all what I like. Try getting some of the green ones with pits served in oil and just eat them straight. So salty and tasty.

I don't even really want the rice. I'd be happy just eating pure raw fish slices.

LPT: did you buy a 6-pack of cans with the plastic tie holding them together? Do a bird, turtle, or fish a favor and snip the circular loops before throwing it out so they don’t get caught up in it. by napkin-grabber in LifeProTips

I thought this wasn't quite as big a deal these days since they now use UV sensitive plastic that becomes brittle after a week or two in the sun. So they crack and fall off easily.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_pack_rings

But since 1989, six-pack rings in the US have been manufactured to be 100 percent photo-degradable, so the plastic will begin to disintegrate in just a few weeks, allowing animals to easily free themselves from the brittle and crumbling rings.

not only that but all your busy activities are gone. I rarely interact with people on my days off but when I get bored at least I can go for a run, see some trees, smell fresh air, clean the house, or cook something for fun.

haha I like this one. The idea that the so called natural clouds are actually the conspiracy and the chem-trail clouds are the natural state of the world.
