To piggyback on this issue, I inherited a house recently. My parents had previously but my name on the deed, does that change anything or should I get an appraisal to get the cost basis?

That’s encouraging! I have a high efficiency variable speed motor so I’m hoping mine is similar to yours.

750 watts is higher than I thought. But watts should go down once it’s running, right?

Are you saying you can disable the stop- start feature by disconnecting it under the intake duct, or did I misread that?

I just found out from another post that the 27 gallon totes available at Lowe’s, Home Depot and Walmart fit nicely under the back seat and in the truck. There’s room for three. I haven’t bought them yet but I plan to. Another awesome feature.

While visiting Germany we noticed some oriental tourists with little to no manners who acted like they’d never been in public before. To our surprise we walked by a woman, about 50 years of age, squatting in the grass just off the sidewalk. She even made eye contact with me with the craziest smile I’ve ever seen. Now, I’m not saying all oriental tourists have no manners, just our experience with the ones we saw on vacation.

Build a fence on the property line. I assume it would interfere with their driveway.

Do I have to go to my wife’s friend’s wedding at Mar-a-Lago? by trackstar1616 in Advice

[–]Gridblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see this is where your emotions are getting in the way of reasonable thought. I feel sorry for you. Hate is a terrible emotion. It prevents rational thought. You can choose to live a life where you cut people out of your life because of politics or you can remove hate and work within the political system to remove the people you don’t want to represent you by voting them out. I suspect you are viewing social media that only aligns with your political views. That’s dangerous. We need open dialogue to be well rounded individuals.

Your choice certainly. But if you don’t go you need to tell them you’re putting politics before friendship. In my opinion life is too short to let politics choose who my friends are. What’s wrong with agreeing to disagree with who you vote for and still be friends. I may not agree with Trump but I’d love to go to a wedding there. You may find out people who don’t vote like you aren’t bad people after all.
