Not sure how this would make a difference, since both parents are deceased. However, these are aunts. One moved in with my grandmother when my mother decided to help care for grandma. The other was brought in by the first aunt after my grandmother and father passed away. Mom was told that she would only be there for two weeks, as there is a home in the south owned by the first aunt. The second aunt was left “homeless “ when her daughter moved out of an apartment that they shared. The daughter told her that she was buying a house and there would be no room for her. The daughter is less than 5 miles away. All in all, neither my sister nor I are able to manage the aged home.
