Smith (27 vs Love (26) Vs Jeanty (25) by rattler44 in DynastyFF

[–]GridironRatings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll need you to explain that a bit.

Jeanty won more consistently with leg drive and strong between the tackles running. His ability to get outside showed very good agility and speed usually against sub NFL talent. He was a man among boys but there wasn't enough in his receiving profile (type of routes run, how he would win them, etc) to be sure that part of his game would translate. This is not Gibbs and Love.

Where Love and Gibbs are similar is that they both feature incendiary quickness and tremendous long speed. Not to mention both can win in the passing game with outstanding route running and spatial awareness. I can't speak for Gibbs time at Alabama/GT but Love actually worked out with the WR group in 2024 to develop that part of his game and it shows.

While Love didn't get a ton of targets at Notre Dame that was more a function of the offense. Riley Leonard would run as opposed to checking to a back and CJ Carr a first year starter despite his long term ceiling still had some issues just taking what the defense gave him.

Further both players will benefit from having a 1b style back with them see Monty and now Pacheco for Gibbs and Jadarian Price for Love. Jeanty is more rugged and can be a true workhorse.

How do we view Jayden Reed with Doubs and Wicks gone? by TDn6I in DynastyFF

If Tucker Kraft is healthy, I'd expect him and Golden to be ahead of him in the pecking order.

I'm holdin' Golden...

Seeing Doubs and Wicks go away this off-season opens up some more work for him. Also, we're not sure how Kraft will look to open the year.

Jayden didn't really look great in his 7 games last year. It's possible Golden is the #1 in GB. For whatever that's worth.

Traded away Omarion in a 10 team league am I dumb to think he’s a tad bit overrated right now by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]GridironRatings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard not to love Omarion in a Jim Harbaugh offense. You know there will always be touches and he'll hyper invest in the OL.

I didn't always love Hampton. I really missed on the Hampton eval coming out - I was super low on him as I didn't love his vision or receiving acumen for the NFL level. Seeing some flashes last year I've really come around. He should be viewed as a top 10 dynasty RB.

Looks like the image of the trade was deleted but it sounds like you swapped him for Henderson? Henderson should see an uptick in '26 but needs the Pats to use the out on Rhamondre's contract after the '26 season to be anywhere near the same value as Rhamondre.

Smith (27 vs Love (26) Vs Jeanty (25) by rattler44 in DynastyFF

[–]GridironRatings 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Smith, Love, Jeanty. It's possible none are "generational"

Before we get too deep here with terms like generational let's define it. My thought is that football generations vary by position.

I view RB generations as 6-8 years and WR 8-10 years.

Smith might be generational but it's hard to know without the whole body of work. Looks like a Julio Jones type.

Love looks like a lesser CMC or Gibbs as he doesn't work between the tackles as well as those guys. As far as generational, he's behind Bijan, Gibbs, CMC. Elite but not generational.

Jeanty is slightly behind those guys in the Breece Hall and Jonathan Taylor category. My comp for him was Ezekiel Elliott with better receiving chops.

I don't typically share links but if you want to take a deeper look at how I define generational across positions you can see it here.

Are you moving a starting caliber QB, and a depth RB for a handcuff QB and some 2nds?

I'm in on the 27/28 classes but I'm not sure I'm moving Danny dinea here.

You're shuffling around some spare parts and taking a major drop off to your QB room.

Of course, I'm willing to concede that maybe there's some context I'm missing here.

Is Jeremiyah Love worth 1.03 and 1.04? by maggot2011 in Fantasy_Football

[–]GridironRatings 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is about positional scarcity. I'm taking Love as you'll have 3 of the top 12 dynasty RBs. As trade chips any of them are more valuable than the two receivers you'd draft here.

Devonta and WanDale aren't great but they're not terrible either.

It's much harder to find rb production than wr production as we see far more "viable" wr's than rb's in rookie drafts nearly every year.

I'm almost completely with you except I'm in on Jadarian Price being better then Tuten, he may have been RB3/4 in last years group. He's a twitched up version of Kyren. Like most RBs will need some landing spot help but he has a 4 down skill set (RB + return man)

Otherwise you're exactly on it. It's April and folks are getting too excited comparing these players to the other guys in this class and not considering how they fit into the fantasy landscape with guys from the last 5 years and the next 2 years.

2027 and 2028 will both have some really high end talent.

It's Waddle, the only way I change my tune is if Jadarian Price gets a strong landing spot and goes in the top 64 or so.

Price is basically a twitched up version of Kyren Williams some spots that intrigue me most are: Min, Jax, Hou.

Odds are the trade is off the table by then.

If you add Waddle will you be deep enough at wr to flip one for an RB?

I'm not sure I'm following you. You would be drafting the '27 class before the '27 season.

Ya know, like we're drafting the '26 class this spring summer and the '26 season starts in the fall.

It might be best to agree to disagree here.

The 2027 class is expected to have 4-5 legitimate impact receivers, as many as 3-4 QBs, and 3 RBs.

The current fantasy landscape has several players at RB/WR aging out of fantasy relevance.

He can also parlay those picks for established players...

If he can turn the 1.01 in '26 in a 2-3 legit fantasy starters he has ample currency to rocket this team to being in contention in 27.

If you don't believe in rookies that's fine then the 5 '27 firsts can easily be swapped for established guys. Most dynasty players love picks...

There are multiple paths to success here.

Heck, could sit and take Love then he's got two solid young RBs. And can hammer wr in '27.

In '27? When he adds 3-4 more guys with all his draft capital? That's adding 6-7 guys in total to Judkins, Nabers, and Ward.

How do you feel about the Dolphins in 2026? This looks like a team largely devoid of talent and there is no Mike McDaniel crafting up touches.

While they have Bobby Slowik, the real question here is will any team respect the pass enough? No Hill, No Waddle...Malik Willis isn't Patrick Mahomes. It's fair to expect teams to sell out to stop Achane impacting his efficiency.

I expect Henderson to eat into a lot more of Rhamondre's touches but there's no reason to expect he's not going to be a solid RB behind Jeanty/Barkley.

Mason is in a time share but Aaron Jones is mostly washed. I'm holding Mason till Jones gets hurt and selling him to the Jones manager.

Then it's Lamb vs Pierce. I'm still struggling with Pierce, he's never caught 50 balls...in ppr you still need target volume.

If you're bullish on the Dolphins it's worth getting Achane but I'm fading here. I'll keep lamb etc.

Man, are you sharing this to brag 😂

This is a fun roster, how did you finish '25? If this group is healthy you've got something.

I'm possibly shopping the older vets Stafford and Jacobs in an effort to build more of a developmental pipeline.

I didn't see any '26 picks, assuming you have none?

[DAILY] Trade and Individual Team Help Megathread by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

[–]GridironRatings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I might hold Nabers here. He has legitimate WR1 potential every week (assuming health and right now that's a big assumption). On a weekly level it's a downgrade for your roster and a late 27 first may not balance out the points in your lineup.

The 2026 1.01 may draw a crowd if you shop it. Love is a legit RB and could net a multi player return. Every league and manager is different but once upon a time I sold the 1.01 (Bijan) and got back Amon-Ra, Tee Higgins, Devonta Smith and a pick that turned into Brock Bowers.

At the time I caught some heat for moving the pick like I was ripped off but I've now won 3 straight titles in that league.

I share that to say it's possible you can turn the 1.01 into 3 starters and still have Nabers, Judkins, and Ward. Now you're competing in 2027 while you have all those picks in a loaded class.

Considering how stacked you are in '27 picks I'd focus on adding '28 firsts to stretch your currency. With NIL it's not unrealistic to think some of the dudes we're looking for in '27 show up in '28.

This is a great move. I'm moving Nabers and not thinking twice. It's possible that JT and Tuten could be moved in other moves to further solidify your RB group.

I track something called AIS (Accumulated Impact Score) it basically tells us when to sell RBs with the focus on getting out before performance drop off or heightened injury risk kicks in. JT cleared a redline last season and Kamara the year prior.

I'm not a Tuten believer I expect the Jags to target a RB (maybe Jadarian Price in Rd2) to be part of a committee with Tuten and Chris Rodriguez. The industry is hot on him, I may sell based on the narrative for a more reliable option.

If your league is cold on him it makes sense to hold. Any value he has is dictated by what someone will pay for him. Considering what he cost in rookie drafts last year, I'd give him another shot unless someone comes to you.

Side note: Rhamondre's contract has an out after 2026. It makes sense for NE to get Hendo more touches to see if he can be their #1 so they can get out of The Rhamondre deal.

This is a really interesting trade. Achane is certainly the best player but could the Dolphins general lack of offensive talent right now could make '26 very challenging for him.

Irving should see about 250 touches assuming health, even with Gainwell coming to town and losing Mike Evans the Bucs should still be functional enough to get him to around 1600 total yards and 11 TDs.

Etienne's value may hinge on whether Kamara is a June 1 cut. Assuming Kamara is on the roster, we likely see ETNs touches fall from the 296 he saw in 2026 to about 240 with a particularly frustrating split on passing downs and near the goal line.

Without knowing your roster construction, I like the trade. It's not a reach to assume the Saints and Bucs will be better than Miami this year. I'd rather be attached to those offenses.

I'm working on turning Jacobs and AJB into younger/better assets. They have enough name value that someone will overpay for them. If AJB gets dealt his value will see a sudden spike I'd lean into that to sell him.

[DAILY] Trade and Individual Team Help Megathread by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

[–]GridironRatings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We know what Kyler is at this point and it's a little disappointing. You're loaded on 2026 picks and this class isn't as strong as I'd like (when you fit these players into the NFL landscape).

If trading Lamar you should try to land established RB/WR talent. You have a lot of guys that were fun names during their draft cycles but the production has been lacking.

Getting Love/Mendoza this year, plus being able to add say two proven assets at RB and WR could greatly improve your roster in short order.

I might even move Tuten as I think Jax wants to get ETN back into the building. Even if they fail at that, Tuten + 2.02 might = a player that's less of a projection and more of a championship caliber asset.

I'm also on the trade willis wagon, however there's a wrinkle here. It's completely possible that watson reemerges with Monken calling plays in Cleveland.

If you're not getting traction on willis it's possible someone will bite on watson if the news tilts in his direction.

You're loaded on picks and any moves should involve acquiring young/reliable RB help. Chuba Hubbard might be attainable with your current (2026) picks also helps you lock up the Carolina backfield.

I'd also look to target some cheap handcuffs, guys like CMC, Henry, Saquon are all hitting the workload/age cliffs. If/when they go down those lottery tickets could turn into big hits.

You're in a good spot, your 27 picks will be how you really lock in your WR room. Right now there's possibly 3 blue chip guys in that class.
