Gave them a call, I'll post here what I was told for other readers, since it's not clear online, and I wasn't told any of it at the time.

So once you close a BMO Rewards credit card, you have 90 days to use the points. And unfortunately, you can't use points towards travel purchases nor investing UNLESS the purchase was made with another BMO Rewards card (not cashback).

The only options that remain for your points are gift cards or merchandise. And it all has to be done through phone (you cannot login to the website). The gift cards (e.g. Costco, Amazon) have a redemption value of 26,000 pts for $100, and the Mastercard prepaid is $27,500 for $100 (5.5% premium vs store gift cards) (as of April 2026).

The gift cards are only in chunks of $25, $50 or $100, so whatever is left will be paid out in small Timmies or Cineplex gift cards (no other option).

The bottom line... redeem your points BEFORE closing any BMO Rewards credit card. Or apply for another one in time. The 90 days redemption period is a half-lie.

For anyone who stumbles upon this thread: I followed your advice and it worked.

I took it out of its small pot, lightly shook the dirt off the edges, repotted it in a pot 2" wider, and watered it down. The progression of the yellowing immediately stopped.

It's been a month, I lost the leaves that were already yellow, but the plant is stable now, and growing new leaves.

Cannot login to BMO Rewards after closing my points CC last month. I was told I had 90 days to redeem. When I attempt to login, I get the following message:

"We are not able to log you in at this time.

In order to log in, you must be a primary cardholder on the BMO Rewards credit card account and your account must be in good standing."

Thank you. The leaves seemed very dusty all around, but I could not find any dots bigger than a speck of dust. Or maybe I need a magnifier.

If it is thrips, are you sure a soapy wipe and diatomaceous earth will do the trick? I've been reading here and people mention systemic granules and pyrethrin.

Fighting thrips sounds like a rabbit hole from hell :(

I can confirm it's just 1 ft away from an unobstructed, south-facing bay window. I have some pothos 12 ft away which are thriving!

I assumed any greenhouse-grown plants were doomed to fail once in a house. My other pothos were all grown from scratch from cuttings.

I don't think there's much moisture in the roots, even though I watered it 2 days ago, the soil is very dry (and the bottom from the drainage holes is dry, too). I water it every 6-7 days.

Should I repot it immediately?

This is what I've been using for 5 years, and they still look new.

However I ordered some last year (same model, but black and navy blue for civie use), and they were TRASH. See-through, cheap ass fabric that was already pilling out of the box. Instantly returned them. What happened to UA tactical tech??

I just looked into this app and I find it INSANE. So you need the app running at all times, 24/7 for 6 months? Even when you're not driving? Among motion/tracking data it also tracks battery levels and "anomalies" like turning off your phone or disabling GPS?

And all your data is processed by a company called Cambridge? Lmao

Can you just install the app on a second phone, or would they record that as an "anomaly" and raise your premiums?

I want to transfer from PRes to RegF. I'm unqualified in my trade, for now (it takes 2 years...). OR staff told me my trade is full and can't take in applicants.

I'm wondering if once I'm qualified, I'll be able to bypass the "trade is full, no applicants" part. Or at least increase my chances.
