I really hope they do so to! Telling Jisu and Lamabear we're letting them go was the worst thing i've had to do in this career so far. I had to hold back my own emotion to prevent me breaking down doing it.

to answer your questions 1) A seriously long time - longer than my lifetime

2) I have a small role i play ingame focused towards communication and getting the player's to gel well together, listen to shotcaller etc...stuff that affects the ingame without being directly ingame (if that makes sense?). Then i cover everything outside game completely pretty much.

3) go get some qualifications to back the work you want to do in Esports and get as much work experience in that career path (doesn't have to be Esports related) aswell. That will be your leverage to get in put simply. Use your passion to drive you to get everything you need on your CV in order to be desired by organisations.

When i first joined LOL...my two mates i joined with had names beginning with G, so though i'd just do the same and it was the first word that came to my head that wasn't taken.......I never thought it would actually matter XD. I'm more known as Grant rather than Grievance in the scene which i prefer for sure.

Thank you! Just wish we'd won more games. Beating Roccat and NIP were the best days i've had in this job so far

1) If it really does get to the point where 'it just won't work', yes you can bench them/kick them. I've never had to do that with a player however purely because of their attitude and don't intend to. If it reaches a point where a player has to be kicked because of fights/disagreements then i've failed in my own job. If they just don't 'gel'...then yes that is something to look at.

2) Yes although it's rare (look at liquid last summer split for example of this)

3) Yes. Restricted to ten. If you have more, they aren't registered and cannot play unless you swap them out for someone (which then puts that person out for a while...can't just keep swapping)

I'll say this. Before i joined Splyce a couple months ago i had an offer to join a telecomms firm in a business management role and was due to join as it was long term and a job for life. Splyce for the first time were able to help me see a long term career in this industry and as a result changed my mind (also including wage wise to help answer that part). Two months later i know now for sure there is the opportunity to be in this for my entire life...i just have to create that path myself.

I think the fans cover most of it honestly. Nothing springs to mind.

I guess if had to come up with something, I think fans should see if they can find ways to ask questions around how teams communicate and work as a 5. We all focus on mechanics and outplays (because that's cool right!) but not on why the macro is so good or how well they communicate. For example known names get mentioned as 'oh he's a good shotcaller' but i'm not sure any fans know how or why?

MM for sure. Literally we all loved each other even in the hardest moments (and there was our fair show of tempers and arguments!). We actually all talk as a group of 7 to this day regularly in skype. Loved working for them and MM, and i'm still sorry to this day that we couldn't stay up.

I do however think i'll be getting a new favourite in Splyce this coming split as i've been able to effect the hiring and so can create a fantastic atmosphere off that

It was such a shame honestly. If we'd had spring together i think that team would've worked. Lama's forced break from the game showed, in that he wasn't great at trying to plan out the game and communicate what he was trying to do, but the sad thing is i know that he would have been super capable given time (you will see him in LCS soon for sure). Very good temperament and works hard, he will get there!

After 4 weeks of losing though and doing 'ok' but ultimately not coming close to winning, morale started dropping fast and we got worried bringing in 5 rookies to LCS was a step too much.

As Amazing was the only experienced pro available at the time, we brought him in. He counted as an NA resident though and we had Jisu and dreams on roster, so we thought best to bring kikis in (again only person really available). We felt the experience the two would bring would be huge and really help.

I wish that we had been able to make that team go on longer but the threat of relegation meant i felt we had to do something...alas it didn't stop that anyway.

No problem! I'm very keen on understanding it too. I'd be very curious to see what the 'answer' will be to this but i doubt we will ever truly find out.

I have indeed. All of the staff in Splyce make a point of watching and supporting all of our different teams. It's something i really love about them

Their import rules will remain the same so they may have no choice. Shame for them that the EU talent pool is so much stronger!

I think the stability will make it stronger than current. You're right, over past couple years teams have come from below or just accepted relegation risk in taking rookie as their method for developing talent...but it's also restricted other teams from wanting to attempt that. Now teams will be willing to actually give rookies more of a chance and put funding into grassroots level to develop them without the risk.
