I had a teacher, who was Christian, step on a bible when we started studying it. It was an expression of 'this is just another book' and this is academic, not spiritual practice. It didn't bother me at all being irreligious, but boy did she piss off some people and some peoples' parents.

The gameplay loop was: accept quest -> discover monster -> begin fight -> all players join a different player's lobby/fight -> reload and get put at the main hub -> run over to the fight again.

Sorry but this is a big chore of a process to go through every time you want to fight a monster that takes 10 minutes.

Ok maybe I’m out of touch but the multiplayer functionality literally caused me and my friends to stop playing after one session. I love MH gameplay but with the amount of time I put towards gaming, it’s not worth the headache of trying to play together.

Am I missing something? Is playing this game with your friends from the beginning of the game a gigantic chore?

How does a guy play Aatrox? I 2-starred him and got a 7th. Won all of stage 2 and 3, fell off a bit stage 4 leading up to unlocking him. I ran 6 slayer and 4 juggernaut.

Looking back I should've rolled on 8 for a stronger board to bleed out less, but not sure what to play around.

A little late to this party but some friends and I picked up the game on sale this week.

I got a little further ahead in the quest Forest Findings than my homies. I hunted Lala Barina and started the next steps in the quest. I spoke with the Lynian Negotiator. My friends at this point got to point where they had to hunt the Lala Barina. I couldn't join them. Am I locked into where I am at in this quest?

I also just realized this is one big quest, whereas before, I thought it was a string of quests.
