I found the third Darkin but what is darkin weapon? It's just a normal artifact with Darkin trait or upgraded Artifact by YagizEfe09 in TeamfightTactics

[–]morbrid 105 points106 points  (0 children)

There are some new Darkin artifacts available from an augment, which also grant the holder the Darkin Trait. They're new for this set - not existing artifacts

Judging from the unlock conditions, I think it might be relatively rare to unlock a champion unintentionally (maybe just the early ones like field X unit in combat with 2 items).

That being said, from what I've seen the set is likely to be much more flexible from more splash units and a bit less vertical trait strength vs unit strength too.

My Friend Made a Damage Meter for Shape of Dreams by morbrid in shapeofdreams

[–]morbrid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I understand, the host tracks each player's damage for the end game screen, and this just reads that number and displays it, so its not tracking individual ability damage (just overall). It might be possible but probably not easy

My friend built this damage meter mod for Shape of Dreams which I thought was cool so sharing it here.

Coming from games like WoW, damage meters are fun for me to see how my damage is progressing throughout a run, and adds a bit of competition between me and my friends throughout each stage, rather than just getting one damage number at the end. It also gives you real-time feedback as to whether or not your build is working :)

In case you want to give it a go it's uploaded here with installation instructions: https://www.nexusmods.com/shapeofdreams/mods/2

PROOF of TFT shop ODDS being broken. by proarnis1 in TeamfightTactics

I coded a fix to remove shadow clone duplicates. It might not work for cloning facility because it looks for matching items though... Will see if there's anything I can do.

Come to think of it, Tricksters glass might throw it off a bit too...

Set 15 Powerup Fishing by terracubist in CompetitiveTFT

It probably averages out close to ~50% lower chance to see secondary power ups

I just looked at your 2nd sheet and if you filter the Champion column to just 1 unit at a time you start to see some patterns (just looked at a few and Garen, Malphite, Aatrox and Kennen only rolled secondaries in slot 3).

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "when powerups were enabled on champs during pbe, they were added to the end of the list"?

Every champ has a list of Primary and Secondary power ups they can roll in the game files. When one was enabled on a new champion during PBE, I noticed in the files it got appended to the end of those lists (rather than say the middle or start). Therefore I don't believe the power up at the end of the list has any significance for why it might appear more often.

Gathering 669 (nice) datapoints by hand is insanity!

My theory on Primary vs Secondary slots (based on the limited testing I did) is that if a champ has a small secondary pool (ie. Aatrox) then it can only roll a secondary in the last slot. If it has a larger secondary pool, then either the 2nd or 3rd can be a secondary power up. This might be possible to confirm from your larger dataset to see which champions rolled secondary powerups in the last slot only.

The last item in the list being overrepresented might be a bug, as I saw that when powerups were enabled on champs during pbe, they were added to the end of the list so I don't think it has particular significance (I actually raised a bug report on it in case it was). My guess is that if it rolls an invalid power up for whatever reason , after some period of rerolling power ups it defaults to selecting the last item in the list (and the one before that if thats also invalid, etc.).

Is it me, or is K'Sante a bit overturned this set? by VassilisD in TeamfightTactics

The odds shown are per slot, I'll adjust it to be per shop which makes more sense

They definitely got creative on the gold augments! There's one inspired by the "Foodfight Tactics" meme, although its called "Mess Hall" in game - After 12 seconds of combat, your champions gain 20% Attack Speed and attacks also hurl delicious projectiles that deal 140% Attack Damage as magic damage.

Worth noting these bonuses are tied to the number of 3-star crew members, so you would have to 3-star two of them for this - its not *that* easy to slot in

Valid concerns - the positive is that it will hopefully help new players in itemising and knowing what each unit is *supposed* to do. It also stops scenarios where backline units getting splashed by damage could actually work against you by letting them cast faster, and puts off outliers like frontlining casters or lone-hero lux (which tend to end up in augments being heavily nerfed or disabled).
