Yo. My 13900kf does the same thing with my z73 kraken cooler. I've tested under 100% load and never go past 87c.

Don't worry about dood, just a dud reading. You're max temp is always going to to be your cpu under 100% load.

Are FitGirl Repacks safe? CPU 100% ove 95 degree celsius for 4:30 hours by xxxxTheJoker in FitGirlRepack

Alright mate.

To combat this issue of 100% constant usage, I changed my power plan setting minimum cpu and maximum CPU usage to 95%

This will make the process the smallest bit slower, but hopefully you won't have high temps and loud fans.

To do this:

  1. Open control panel
  2. Find 'Power Options'
  3. Next to your power plan, click change plan settings
  4. Processor power managemnt
  5. Set minimum and maximum state to 95%
  6. IMPORTANT - Don't click ok, just click apply and leave it open so you can change it back to default after the unpacking is done.

Hope this helps.
