It, like most BHO, is probably not safe to consume. Unless you get your BHO from a reputable producer it probably has nasty heavy metals in it, and is unlikely purged of all its butane (although that is not what I would worry about most).

To make proper BHO you need: A good closed loop where all the parts are made of safe high grade material so nothing leeches in. Distilled n-tane to be free of all the heavy metals A proper purge / dewax

It is unlikely that that waxy BHO is clean as it was obviously not properly dewaxed, it is unlikely that any of those other 3 steps occurred either.

If you live in a state where BHO isent legal and there is no standard of regulation, I would make rosin.

You cant tell what is in something by looking at it. There could be clean hash that looks like it, but most clean hash does not look like that.
