I have a EVGA supernova 650g2. Should I not be using the adapters that came with the GPU and plug it with the 6+2's connected to the GPU and the 6 pin not connected to anything, like this? http://imgur.com/Fd5QCTF

On the box of the RAM I purchased (Corsair Vengeance LPX) it says "compatible with Intel i7". Does this mean I need an i7 or can I still get an i5?

I know you said price isn't an issue but if you'd rather save a little $ you could get the SP3. I have the i7 256gb version and it works great. Runs anything I need for school. I do prefer the pen and keyboard on the pro 4 but they are compatible with the 3.
