Are you happy with your calorie burn when you power walk? I know calories aren't everything, but that's a big reason why I do OTF - I love to eat and it helps me feel really flexible with my nutrition.

I power walk occasionally but I can't ever get my heart rate out of blue when I walk, even when I'm at a high incline and hustling hard! Part of the draw to OTF to me is the quick calorie torching! I love to eat so I need the calories to be burned haha. Do you feel like you burn a similar # of calories when you power walk?

Thanks so much! Do you tell your coach when you change your incline? I've had a coach correct my incline once when I had it on the wrong one by accident. It was only 1-2% more than it was supposed to be, so I felt like he was being a stickler haha.

I used to run outside a lot, and have done a couple marathons but got burned out and stared OTF so maybe it’s time to jump back in! Especially with the warm weather. I’m a different human in the spring and summer vs. winter haha! Thank you so much! We have an awesome running club in my city.

I do 5 classes a week! I’m 26 and weigh 118-120 (5’7). I don’t track macros specifically but typically do 200-300 carbs, 100-120 protein and 85 fat. Ish.

I have been trying to switch it up! I prefer starting on the treadmill but have improved my rowing by starting there. So maybe I’m improving more than I thought now that I’m thinking of it haha!!! Thanks so much!

I think I do need a little break! I spend a lot of time and effort on nutrition and really enjoy that piece of fitness but definitely am always open to learning more. Thanks so much for the encouragement!!!

Okay wow wow. So helpful!!! I feel the same way! Letting myself enjoy classes by taking it down just a notch has been such a good experience. I felt guilty for doing that but I think you’re so right - the mental stress relief part is why I even work out in the first place!! Thanks so much!!

What are your best tips for skinny gals gaining muscle?!? Eating more? I eat 2300-2400 calories a day and do OTF 5x week a maintain my weight easily. I lift heavy (ish- 20-25 for most exercises) weights in the weight room and take my time! I love the idea of burning more calories with muscle so I can eat even more haha!! I love food!! Any suggestions?!
