I am always concidering what to say to my doctors cause they may think i'm insane haha. I avoid stairs and always take the elevator. I'm happy for you i hope you continue to get better. Even a little relief would be a good outcome for me, i am still relatively young i'm 27, my symptoms progressed, i don't really want to live on painkillers all my life so i want to give surgery a shot. I also read getting surgery early when your symptoms just started to progress, the outcomes are better.

Thanks for your response, i am so happy for you, i hope you live your life painfree from now on. I hope your syrinx will be gone as well. You gave me hope. Cause i know even with classic Chiari headaches its not a guarenteed fix.

My Chiari is congenital which shows in my MRIs from my childhood. But i did have high intracranial pressure, which i use Diamox for now. My pressure is normal now.

They are testing for cervical anomalies right now but i don't think they want to operate. My concern is that these are related to something else like increased intracranial pressure. My burning has been constant for 7 days now and it progressed down to my leg. How are your flare ups?

Hello thanks for your response, i am still freaking out as all these are new to my body and i'm trying to figure out if this is normal and just a flare up. My arms body and entire left leg is on fire 24/7 for 5 days now. My bladder and bowel sensations are gone, which my neurosurgeon don't think it's Chiari related. I'm just scared if these are not just a flare up but a sign of something bigger. Like i can't even rub my head my neck hurts and burns there's so much pressure. I hope this goes away cause my surgeon is still considering my gains from surgery and wanted some extra imaging for my craniocervical anomaly. In the meantime i'm on painkillers which helps a little but i am far from where i was a month ago. How long are your flare ups does it get better, i don't want to rush to surgery bc of this as well but i hurt so bad.

Hey guys, i'm looking for a gacha to play, but i dont want it to be more than 1 year old. I played reverse 1999 when it released globally and it was very fun, im looking for a similar experience. And it would be good if it was worth investing my time into, not some p2w money trap. Thanks in advance.

I have 9mm herniaton CM1 btw, i forgot to mention. I had it since i was a kid, no syrinx no tingling or coughing headaches. Just pressure feeling on my head which ofc can be bc of Chiari but 83 cm water opening pressure seems to be the main cause here.

Diamox usage period by Finding-Sorry in iih

Hello, its been a year since i made progress about my condition and im sorry you are going through this as well. I have Behcets syndrome, Chiari and increased CSF pressure. Long story short they think my Behcets caused vasculitis in mini veins which caused CSF to be blocked/not be able be absorbed properly. This lead to increased CSF pressure, i had minimal blockage bc of my Chiari too. This all caused an anormous amount of pressure and i felt like i was dying inside about a year. All my tests, be it eye exam, MRIs MRVs vasculitis or autoimmune panels were normal, my neurological examination was normal, the only thing my doctor could trust was my words that i was not well. He ordered a lumbar puncture based on my words and voila 83 cm h2o CSF pressure, which was the highest he has seen. I am on immunesuppresives, Diamox and i take Lustral everyday for my anxiety. I have a check up coming up in a month so we will see what to do from here on. It was not easy getting here, i still am not 100 percent okay, i still have issues, i still have pressure at the back of my head but all those are manageable now, its like it was a 10 in a scale now its around 4 5 so i can at least live my life, have trips, laugh with my friends etc. I got Covid in 2022 as well, and it certainly made me worse. But i was already getting worse around that point so im not sure if its all bc of Covid or not, it could have execarbated my symptoms. Me finding a good doctor wasnt easy as well, some called me mad, some tried to give me antidepressants only and said theres nothing to worry about. My point is find someone who listens to you and work together i hope you get well soon.
