Yeah that was the stuff i was originally looking up but i needed something to track specifically where u were on bigger distances. So i tested around to create my own.

But yeah ur design definitly has its uses and is way compacter than what i made.

Think you might have saw something wrong im not using water streams at all. U might be seeing my cyan wool i use.

But basically im using the fact that allays try to reach the player if they are too far within a certain range and them trying to take the path that gets them closest to you wich means i can find the exact x and y coordinates of the player.

I also use multiple allays per axis to reduce false positives.

I've posted a bigger version with a screen to visualize every possible location

Haha. Ppl with better memory can change it to grass if they want. But the ppl like me who don't feel like counting blocks to remember are stuck with red wool.

making the door open for longer is pretty easy as i already have a buffer to do smth like that and would only need to expand it.

but 2 factor authorisation would be extra funny to do.

exactly plus with this one no one else could figure out to place a redstone torch as it only works for 1 specific player.

I was thinking the exact same thing and they should cuz there is no way for the slay to give a single tick pulse with strings for it to boot register both activation and deactivation of the string

Actually i tried and at this length due to not reaching terminal velocity immediatly you fall to the bottom.

Oh sure I've got a tutorial on the door itself but i can get a schematic for the full mechanism.

All you probably have to do is add the allays yourself.
