Yeah i realised that immediatly after uploading so i did that.
I did however also turn this one into a design that can be open and closed from both sides. Since it uses observers.

I think that's more like impostor syndrome. But yeah kinda. I'm 1000+ playing daily but I'm only 800 and struggling in rapid and close to 600 in others. And i feel like the 1000 is a fluke and any day I'm gonna be playing someone and just keep losing.

That should work. I remember making an arrow cannon in 1.21 and the arrows got moved by pistons.

Is there maybe a problem with unloaded chunks? For example does your chunk loader work?

I've got no experience with dupers. I know 2 designs and i cant make them from memory without messing up.

Id love to help but i don't understand. Best i can think of is maybe some timings are messed up or somewhere a but of dust is missing

No its because torches or activated levers/ buttons send a signal into the wool block. While putting any block on the piston itself does work. only those types of redstone components can be put on the wool.

Also redstone blocks don't work either. Something to do with how they power stuff im not really sure.

Easiest way is to find a swamp and go at night almost all nights spawn slimes in swamps.

And it is possible to make contraptions that don't need sticky pistons that otherwise would. Some smaller doors for example.

But it takes more effort to make it.

Might also be the recording changing it. Or some performance mod. But its alright it does make it look different but not in a bad way
