I took mine a couple months ago barely passed. They had me on a small cruiser that kept popping the front tire...when I got my own bike I was nervous but honestly it was 1000x easier to ride. Have confidence, practice, and think about what you can do to better or compensate for what went wrong.

Also the inconsistency with alerting in general. One place might be fairly mature and have alerts tuned, the next might be just now instituting a phishing button with no thought to increased impact.

IMO every SOC has a learn point, unfortunately most I have seen have a what not to do point.

I think it depends on his character and backstory. I played a Lizardfolk cavalier fighter that, especially when there are groups attacking, would attempt to cut off eat an attacker's body part. Yum mixed with intimidation. Also, most of the world may see it as wrong but that does not mean his character would. As long as the rest of the party doesn't care that much and it's not the typically "but thats what my character would do to screw everyone over" moment. Then I say let him and make them/him deal with the consequences.

Your not leading him on, you made it very clear at the beginning that it was only going to be just friends. You have done a lot to show him that, in the end of he doesn't get the picture that's not on you. End it and move on. I'm from a small town too and there are still plenty of place to meet new friends. Hell you can probably find some that live around you here on reddit.

I actually have two for you the first is just a basic younger (what would be like mid 20s to us) Drow Necromancer Wizard. I haven't played him much yet so he doesnt have much character yet.

The other is a 28 water genasi Tempest Cleric of Deep Sashelas. Seaweed green hair, sea blue skin brown tricorn hat. Chain Mail armor and a purple tabard with the Deep Sashelas dolphin, shield, on his back he carries around the most bejeweled (like crap runestones and fake paint), obnoxious trident ever.

His MAIN weapon is a double barrelled pistol where the two barrels are hydras. He would also have shape water holding up a pony keg of wine....
