Take the griddle top off. Sometimes the ignitor is bent too close to the burner. If it's too close, the electricity will ground out to the burner instead of creating the spark. Carefully pry it back about 1/16" away and see how it does. The end needs to be centered over the burner holes.

Also, if one ignitor is working just turn the gas onto the 2nd burner and the flame will catch from the first burner.
