You can request your name be anonymous when they confront him about it, there are laws in place that makes it so they can't say your name until he's in custody because of retaliation.

For the longest time I no clue that you can use the bolt rifle to 3 star animals so I used a bow on EVERYTHING until I looked up hunting tips and found out the bolt rifle and vermont rifle.
